As cliche as it may be, I am 100% not the person to leave a review but I felt compelled to after going through my bag of supposedly “LARGE” crabs that I just purchased about 2hrs ago now which cost me nearly a 100$ and to my surprise they are NOT EVEN CLOSE to a size LARGE. I have purchased MEDIUM crabs that were 2-3x this size and hardly any were hollow as well from a place in MD a few weeks ago, but me wanting to try this place out due to it being a shorter distance from me I took the risk and a RISK it was. Sadly but DEFINITELY I will not be returning! I am a crab/seafood lover at heart and I’ve never been more disappointed with a purchase overall!!!! I should have most definitely been charged for either SMALL OR MEDIUM but LARGE was not the size that I received and I’m very aware of sizes changing when in season and off season BUT the size I received and the price that I paid doesn't even come close to being acceptable. I paid for XL crabs and got #2 today.The last time i called in a order and got there and he said oops I think I cooked your crabs with no apology. The time before that I got jumbo crabs and got #1 crabs. I have been coming here for 4 years patronized throughout COVID. I will never again

Racist vibes... So I went here for some bait and was told by the big guy that they were all out of chicken necks. I said ok and then I came back to grab something else and then someone else asked for the same item and magically chicken necks were there. Is bait only available for certain types of people? Yikes….

This Was/Is My Go To For Crabs .. Ordering Weekly .. But For The Last 2 Months .. The Flavor Has Gone Down Hill. I Kept Ordering Hoping It Was Just A One Time Thing . Nope 2 & Three Times Later Same Issue.. Lack Of Flavor & Crabs Covered In Crab Gunk. I Normally Could Get Crabs For A Closer Time Frame .. Due To “Stacking” Crab Orders They Lost Business From Me A Few Times(2 Or More Hours Wait).. I Hope This Isn’t A Permanent Change .. I Hope To Be Back …** The Response Is Unfounded To My Review. The Crabs Are Lacking Flavor Due To Stacking & Trying To Cramp All Orders In A Pot.. & Excessive Crab Gunk, When Receiving Steamed Orders. **
Customer service has literally went downhill! This use to be my go to spot with crabs! The last two times I’ve called the older gentleman who answered literally told me he didn’t have time to take a crab order he was too busy and hung up on me! I definitely will not be back! This was today 7/22 & 7/9 both times looking to order a bushel. (Answering question below)

I ordered steamed crabs for the first time over the busy 4th of July weekend. The staff is super friendly, and although there was a little blip in my order, they made good on it. Quickly got my order together, gave me a discount, and even through in some "Jumbo's" to the order, plus a free jar of their awesome crab sauce! The crabs were sweet and meaty, and the large and extra large were perfect - they were sized right! I highly recommend Master Baiter's for their professional service, and especially the steamed crabs.
