Cherita was amazing to work with. She created a beautiful sun and moon cake for my wedding and it was delicious. She delivered it to me in perfect condition and was very responsive and thorough with ensuring it was decorated the way I wanted. I would absolutely work with her again.

Cherita is a veritable artist! She didn't need much direction at all beyond two inspiration photos and some questions. She perfectly delivered on my vision for my son's first birthday serving cake and smash cake, and added her own artistic flair. For example, I didn't ask for Cherita to have the stack of barbell plates off center like one would find in a real gym, but she did that on her own initiative and according to her own artistic vision. And I think it made the stack of plates look even more awesome! Cherita is definitely going to be at the top of my list for custom cakes going forward. And the cakes were delicious! My favorite part actually might've been the handlebar of the dumbbell smash cake made out of rice krispie treats. Hands down the best rice krispie treats I've ever tasted.

Update:The cake was so cool my daughter didn't want to cut it. Finally today she broke down and sliced the cake. Let me say that chocolate cake was amazing. Rarely can you find a cake pleasing to both your eyes and pallet but Moon Child Sweets hit the ball out of the park! The cake was moist, fresh, and was obviously baked by someone who knew what they were doing. It was obviously not one of those old cakes that bakers pull out of the freezer and you can tell. Thank you again for hitting all the marks. You're definitely my new baker.
I found Moon Child Sweets via an online search engine for a bakery close to my vicinity. I wanted a Grinch cake for my adult daughter's birthday and I wasn't truly certain what I wanted to look like. I sent the baker several pictures I found online and we landed on 1. I'm always skeptical when using new vendors so I was a bit nervous. I arrived a little earlier than our agreed time ( I despise tardiness), my cake was ready to go. The baker was extremely nice but the hit was the cake when I saw it. I was very happy to see how beautiful and professional the cake was. She took the time to explain everything about the cake and what the edible decorations were. I would certainly use her again and recommend her. Unfortunately I can't rate taste yet because the cake is so point on visually that no one wanted to cut it, lol. I'll update review on taste when the birthday girl finally cuts it.
I spent 85$ for a cake that shoprite could have did for 30$ will not recommend this to anyone.. what a waste of money
