Was rudely accosted by what I would guess is the owners. So I was sitting in the shade waiting for contractors because it's the only shade in the area. They weren't even open at 1230, it's says they open at 12, I assumed they were closed. So this guy rolls " you need something?!" as rude as you can be. I got annoyed and just left. Then they tried to act like they were just asking me to move. Nope they came up and just were extremely rude for no reason. I'm never going to get ice cream from here ever again.

Delicious ice cream! This was my first visit; stopped after eating spicy Thai food nearby. The rum raisin did not skimp on raisins nor rum flavor! My husband enjoyed the peach, full of peach chunks. Service was prompt and friendly. I thought the price was very reasonable. Will definitely return next time I'm in the area!

Scoops has an amazing menu of freshly made, delicious, hand dipped ice cream. Service however can be a little shaky at times. I have received the wrong ice cream and been disappointed when they are out of sugar cones which is a common occurrence.

When I come up to Delaware to visit Mom there are 2 places I HAVE to stop at and Scoops is one of them. Although, there was a slight clitch last with the new computer system that was ok. It got fixed and I got my ice cream. My all-time favorite is Banana Pudding 2 Scoops in a Waffle Cone. Last night I tried the strawberry shortcake. It was ok. Soft serve ice cream, pieces of pound cake, and fresh strawberries in a cup. The only thing I would change is adding a little strawberry syrup. Hubby got the mint chocolate chip in a waffle cone, he was in heaven....They also offer a Military discount. This time we didn't have to ask. The gentleman behind the counter saw his hat and added the discount. I Love this place.
