The waitress was nice and helpful but there were some issues with our food. The vegetables a party member received were very obviously canned- you could tell by the color and had the consistency of hospital food. Another member ordered a sandwich to go and it only had one slice of bread on it, so it wasn’t a complete sandwich. My food tasted like it was cooked on a dirty grill- black and burnt. We will not be returning. I could have made better food at home- I was really disappointed.
I didn't care for the turkey meal
My husband and I really enjoyed going to The Legend for a few years, but will no longer go. We went there today, 6/8/25, and the heavyset waitress (Suzy I think?) scammed us on our receipt. When she took my order she said I could get one side. She read off the sides and I asked if I could get a salad as a side, she said yes. I ordered chocolate milk and half way through, realized there was white curdled floaties in my cup at the top. She should have noticed this! I asked her to make me a new one and she didn't apologize, just walked away. Our food arrived, she walked away, and I looked down and realized we had no silverware. She should have noticed this! While my food got cold, I had to wait a while for her to come back to ask her for silverware to eat my food. Again, she didn't apologize. She barely checked on us, never refilled my husband's coffee, and was just awful. She brought the check and I realized my chicken croquettes were more expensive than they were on the menu. I took my check up to pay, but grabbed a menu to see what happened. Sure enough my meal was supposed to be $17.99, not over $20. The guy at the register called our server over and she said with an attitude that I was charged an extra $2.50 for the salad. I said I specifically asked you if that could be my side and you didn't mention an upcharge. She just stared at me with a nasty face, didn't apologize. The guy at the register did nothing to help. I walked over and grabbed her $6 cash tip off our table and we left. In the past, my husband asked for cheese on his eggs and they charged him $2+ and didn't tell him. This is a sneaky and dishonest way to run a restaurant and we will never be back. Even on our birthday cause we loved their desserts. Scammers all the way!
The food was ethereal, the spaghetti was the best I have ever had! Loved it here will definitely come back!
I asked for blackened flounder and I got broiled fish that looked like wet napkin's with seasoning sprinkled on it. I mean look at it ! Does it look blackened to you? Anyway, I took it home to season it myself. But the soup was tasty. Stick to breakfast food at this restaurant is what I will recommend.
I eat here often and never left unhappy. The owners are the best and all the servers are great. I had three parties there and had so much fun and all my guest were very impressed.
Ate a retirement breakfast there was really good

Food was really good and good sized portions BUT it didn’t take long for the orders to come to the table. Which to me means it was precooked. The food was cold like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. The bacon was so burnt and greasy tasting like it had been sitting for a long time. The cheese in my omelette wasn’t even melted. Very disappointed

Great food, staff was extremely friendly, and a little gem overall.
Ordered delivery for years but went in for breakfast for the first time recently and it was worth the wait. I can say breakfast, dinner, and desserts are all worth it.
Easy to miss due to being right off the highway, but a worthwhile stop.
