Met friends here for dinner. Cocktails, wine and food were all great. My friend grew up in St. Croix and appreciated the flavors. We enjoyed everything from the jerk chip, catfish, avocado stack, to gumbo. Outstanding. Treat yourself and dine here. I’ll be back!

Was on the toilet 3 times after eating this food. That should tell you all you need to know. Food was either lukewarm or too burnt. Then they had the AUDACITY to try and put on a 20 percent gratuity charge to offset the discount they gave us on a PARTY OF 4! WILL NEVER GO

Our party of four made a 130p Sunday brunch reservation. When we arrived, we were warmly greeting and immediately seated, with the sounds of a live jazz by a female musician. The atmosphere is cozy, and clean. It’s not a big place but comfortable. Everyone enjoyed their (adult beverage) drinks and food. Food potions were plentiful, prices were reasonable, the menu had various options. The waiter was patient and attentive. The chef, Toney came out and briefly talked to our party at our table-that was a nice touch. We will be back, and recommend Zollies to our friends and family.
Parking: Street parking on the side streets are available, but parking can be tight in front of the establishment.

This has to be one of the worst experiences I have had and I recommend firing your bartender. She needs a job that she can do. Customer service or dealing with people is not it for her.
We walked in maybe a little after 9 because I was interested in a cocktail. Upon walking in the rude bartender yells over that they are not serving food. No hi, no what brings you in here today. That was a huge turn off from this establishment. I would recommend better presentation for your business. We stated we had people here that we were coming to see and she says oh where and we point so she walks us back. As we are walking back, she tells the server that they are not serving food anymore. Absolutely horrible experience and I would recommend getting rid of this individual.

Zollies is as much a destination as it is a restaurant. If people aren’t already commuting from Philadelphia, Baltimore, NYC and DC, they soon will be as word is getting out about this place. Dining at Zollies feels like you’ve stumbled into one of NYC’s best East Village hideaways. It doesn’t offer “food” so much as it offers “Cuisine”: Owners Chef Tony and Suzette integrate bar and kitchen offerings in an incredible example of what can be achieved when talented professionals at the top of their game are working in lock-step. Chef Tony’s Guyanese Pepperpot was actually designated a work-of-art, and featured in a recent exhibit at the Delaware Contemporary Museum of Art.
What an experience.

I have to say this was one of our best dining experiences ever. The food catfish & salmon was superb, drinks were excellent, service outstanding, and the atmosphere with music was icing on the cake. We’ll be back for sure.
Only down note is parking.

What a pleasant surprise! My husband and I were looking for a dinner & live music spot last night. Initially, we were going to drive to Philly but decided to stay local... and glad we did! We found Zollies just by googling. I love old New Castle and hadn't been in a while. The quaint walk up to Zollies set the mood and the intimate yet lively atmosphere added to the ambiance of our date night. The food!!!!so so so so good!!! My husband had the Blackened Lousiana Catfish so flavorful! I had the Atlantic Salmon Filet En Banana Leaf Papayette, the best salmon dish I have ever had! Both dishes were easily 5 stars!!! We enjoyed the music while dining & admiring the artwork. We sat down by the waterfront to cap the evening off. We will definitely be back! The hostess was friendly and accommodating upon arrival. However, our waitress initially didn't seem too friendly, but perhaps it was because it was nearing the end of the evening. I kept smiling and being friendly, and it seemed she cheered up a bit.

?️? Great Date Night Spot! Live music and a cool upscale Island Vibe with wonderful service and an attentive hands-on/ guest-friendly Chef. Everything was so fresh! The Sweet & Spicy Cornbread and Seafood Stew were spectacular! The Lower Slower Surf & Turf was the perfect balance of tender, juicy chicken and tons of crab! Definitely a hidden gem in Historic Old New Castle!
Parking: Free street parking throughout Old New Castle. Be patient, you may have to drive around a block but you’ll always find something.

It’s a beautiful restaurant, however the hostess was pretty rude. My party of two walked in to see if they could squeeze us in since another restaurant we had made reservations for happened to close early. The hostess did not greet me, and when we made eye contact she ignored me and went back on her phone. She then only asked (without saying at least hello, still) if we had a reservation, admittedly we didn’t but we wanted to at least try for the bar. I said no and she dismissed us very rudely. All but told us to get out. Specifically she said “there’s no room here.”… it’s a shame I would’ve been willing to come back in the future to actually try the food and drinks. So that being said, make sure you have a reservation!
