LOVE Amatos! It’s the only pizza I’ll eat around here (also my biggest craving when I was pregnant). Joe is the best and sure knows how to make a great pie. The sauce is *chefs kiss*! You have to try it! Love love love
The Sicilian Pizza That Changed My Life (Or at Least My Waistline)
I ordered a Sicilian pizza expecting a nice, reasonable meal. What I got instead was a thick, cheesy brick of joy that may or may not require a construction permit to lift. This pizza isn’t just food—it’s a commitment. One bite in, and I felt like I needed to sign a lease because I was moving in.
The crust? A perfect golden cloud of carbs, crisp on the outside, soft and pillowy inside—like it had been baked in heaven’s oven by angels who trained in Naples. The sauce? A beautiful, tangy masterpiece that had just the right amount of garlic to ensure no vampires (or close-talking coworkers) would come near me for days. The cheese? Oh, the cheese. If there was an Olympic event for cheese pull length, this pizza would take home the gold.
By slice number three, I was seriously considering my life choices. By slice number five, I was bargaining with the pizza, promising to run a marathon if it would just let me finish. But did I stop? Of course not. I powered through like a true champion, fueled by dough, determination, and delicious regret.
Final verdict: 10/10, would absolutely risk a food coma again. If you need me, I’ll be napping this off—probably until next Tuesday.

All they use is marinara sauces, personally I prefer sweet tomato plum sauce.

Great pizza and customer service! I was in Delaware, from New Jersey, for work.
The bacon pepperoni pizza was delicious. The bread was a little softer than my preference, but it was still delicious. The cheese was very high quality, and the ratio of cheese to sauce was perfect. Not too much, not too little. The toppings were very high quality as well.
The gentleman who served me was very kind and we have a nice interaction when I picked up my order.
Great pizza spot, will definitely go back next time I'm in Delaware.

Was very excited to try the new place… service was fantastic and people so nice, however, pizza was mediocre at best. Bianca was decent, but cheese and Sicilian were dry. Really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, it was just not good

Ok so I gotta say, anyone who’s given this place less than 5 stars needs to take off their Karen hat or put down the crack pipe. This pizza is absolutely incredible. The staff were incredibly friendly and the pizza was superb.
Complaints about having to wait and blah blah blah timing and hours. Just be quiet. You know what? …. Good pizza has high demand. You don’t want to wait for two hours on a Friday night in August for the best pizza around; here’s a tip: go down the frozen aisle and grab yourself a red baron or Ellios. These guys are in high demand and don’t need to kill themselves to make every weekend warrior happy.
The moment my lips touched the pizza I think I saw Jesus. He was playing a harmonica and walking down Atlantic Avenue. It could have been a homeless dude, but it also could have been the son of the father. (He was heading towards the sketchy smoke shop on foot that sells Kratom). I digress, either way there was a magical melody in my mouth as I tore into my first bite.
Zero flop, great undercarriage, slightly sweet sauce, and unlike many places around here, they hold off on having a seizure and dumping an entire quart of cheese on the Za. Good balance, good bread, good sauce, good cheese. 8.6. That’s a review.

We needed a quick bite to eat after driving 5 hrs from PA. This was the only pizza place except for Dominos open and we ordered a small plain cheese and it was delicious. Crispy with good flavor.

Amatos might be expensive but their Sicilian Pie is second to none. You have to order the large one 24 hours in advance but the smaller size is more than enough to feed our family of 4.
The regular pizza is very good but the Sicilian is on another planet.
Give this mom and pop a shot and you won't be disappointed.
My only gripe but again it's worth it is the cost. $40 for a large Sicilian 60$ after adding all the toppings we like.

Dietary restrictions: Bought 16” pepperoni/mushroom and 10” gluten-free pepperoni pizza. Both were excellent and customer service was outstanding!

Ended up at Amato’s because Grotto wasn’t taking orders and it was the best thing that happened. Pizza far better and cheaper, best pizza we’ve had in a long time
