Great bbq at the beach! Brisket cheesesteak is family favorite. Also can’t go wrong with the pulled pork or even hot dog! Every side is delicious but mac n cheese seems to be family choice also. Online ordering pricing is off with the platter upgrade selection but we just called in instead.

Very good pulled pork. It was juicy, flavorful, and the sauce added to the flavor rather than taking over. My daughter ordered the sandwich and I just got the meat. Sides were good, nothing spectacular but it may be one of the best deals for food near the beach. 2 of us ate for$22. They take call ahead and served many people that way as we don't ed at their outside table. Great food at a very fair price.

Be aware, there's only outdoor seating so if the weather is bad, plan to take it back to your place instead of eating there.

This was my first experience at Charlie Kay’s barbecue. It truly is a cute little barbecue pitstop. The service was good. The young lady that took my order was very friendly and helpful. I ordered several different things just to give a fair review and taste choices. I ordered some pulled pork sandwiches some brisket, different sides. The sides, I was kind of under whelmed, the brisket sandwich just needed to be a little bit more flavorful & juicy. And have better tasting sauces to enhance the flavor either Hickory smoked and /or tangy & sweet. To me the sauces that were there were not appealing for my taste, but for others, they may enjoy it.
But other than that, That’s just might take but the rest of the menu had an array of choices so go out to Charlie K’s BBQ, a cute little small town pitstop and enjoy..
Delicious! Their BBQ sauce is amazing. Pulled Pork sandwich and Brisket were fantastic! Baked beans also get an A+. Very happy we tried it tonight!

The brisket is shredded! Still very good. I shared a 7 oz brisket platter with two sides (small containers) and it was about $13. The mac and cheese and baked beans were very good. I will be back for sure. They also have Polish ice which is basically Italian ice, a little pricey

Got 2 brisket sandwich platters. Brisket was pulled which I expected sliced, it was still good. Our sides: Mac and cheese was 100% Stouffer's 😫 Cole slaw is very tangy and peppery with no sweetness. Baked beans tasted like they were authentic and smoked though! Would try sandwiches from here again.

Pulled pork was good but was disappointed in the “brisket” I was expecting sliced but got shredded pot roast with not much smoky flavor. Very disappointed in the Mac n cheese as well because tasted like Kraft noodles with melted American singles. The green beans were amazing though. It’s fairly priced and service is fast so you get what you pay for.

Charlie K's sandwich - 5/5 really good brisket, bun got soggy in the car ride home so Id recommend eating this one on site/on sight barbecue sauce you can drink, and good crunch in the sandwich to chop it up. Half Chicken - 3/5 honestly a little dry for my taste, provided barbecue sauce that was really good to help with that, had a nice char of seasonings on it, but it still didnt have a crispness that I'd like to see. would order again but wouldn't go out of my way for it. Sides - Mac was pretty standard but good, would recommend mixing in some meat or bbq sauce to get a bit more flavor in it, had good texture and nice cheese flavor regardless. Beans were solid, would recommend.
