Our daughter wanted BBQ for her wedding at Seed and Sapling. A friend recommended Hocker's. We didn't really think about them for catering. We are so glad our friend recommended them. The food was excellent. They did a wing bar and cheese and veggie trays for appetizers. They did pulled chicken and pork, pit beef, fried chicken and vegetables. We had almost 180 people and there was plenty of food. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We could not have been happier with the quality of food and service. The price was vey reasonable. Definitely a 5 star event.

Super long wait for mediocre crock pot food. It's not like they're BBQing on the spot, so not sure why I had to wait 30 minutes. Food handed to me cold. Better off going down the road to Charlie K's for some real BBQ.

Yeah… I wouldn’t bother to stop here… No real evidence of authentic barbecue here, so head further down the road. Tried the brisket and was extremely disappointed to see gloopy, wet, thin strips of unidentifiable meat that had obviously been soaking in a crockpot for hours maybe days…$20 donation to the Hocker Family College Fund…hopefully it’s tax deductible, otherwise wasted time and money.

This is a great local place to get great, inexpensive barbecue in the Millville-Ocean View area. We like it much better than the other local BBQ stands in the area. The people are very friendly and the food is prepared quickly. We like the pulled pork BBQ and buy it by the pound.

Surprised at how bland the BBQ was. I got the pulled pork platter. The pork was as plain as it could be and the sauce added the only flavor. Bottom line is it was just ok.

Went there today, the lady at the register was very rude. The gentleman being the ice cream counter just stared at me wouldn’t take my order but helped the gentleman that came up after I had been standing there. When I finally did get service, I got an ice cream cone, the cone was empty and had one small scoop on top. That when he handed it to me was falling off. Service overall was below satisfactory that I won’t be back.
