This is a lovely shop and the bakery items on the shelves are picture perfect. It's just a shame that the quality does not match the appearance. It doesn't surprise me, though, since we learned at checkout that the baker doesn't start work until noon. That means, of course, that everything is day old. And the proof was in the proverbial pudding as everything was hard, dry, stale. I understand that people don't want to work baker's hours anymore-it is (was) a tough life. But then, I suggest that bakeries stop pretending that we still live in that world and instead of opening at 7:00 a.m., they open at 2:00 or 3:00 p.m. Instead of morning buns, they could offer afternoon teas and at least that way, the lovely baked items would be fresh...

I have been coming since place opened in small yellow cottage, past 2 years have been tough on this business, still great stuff, but today’s order overcooked, dark brown exterior to bun, very very dry inside.. suggest not trying to push things faster in a commercial oven by increasing temperature to be able to get more made or have oven serviced ? Many items in case looked darker brown than usual. Why are tables covered in stuff? Thought concept of expansion was so people could sit and eat there. Not an inviting atmosphere inside.

I had a cake made for my dad’s 90th birthday party. Beyond delicious! Many guests said it was the best cake they’ve ever had!

Big order for 20 of us as take out. Reasonable prices. Fast friendly service. Delightful treat!!

Cute shop with some great looking things on display. Unfortunately 2 of our items weren't actually baked through, so we had to do some cutting and scraping to get a breakfast out of our order.

I’ve been going to Morning Buns for years and in recent years the baked goods have been very very dry and do not seem to be fresh. I am very disappointed, keep going back hoping it was just an off-day, and the last time I went was Fri., August 11 at about 7 am. Sorry I can’t spend that kind of money on poorly baked pastries.

Items were not fresh. Very disappointed especially in the horrible service we received. No good morning, no thank you…just rude. We were the only people there at the time…be pleasant to your customers and put on a smile even if you don’t want to. Won’t be going back.

Coffee was ok. Service was friendly but every pastry we got was stale. We got the cheese danish which was not fresh at all, the Monkey bun which was hard as a rock, and the blueberry muffin which was average. Probably won’t go back.

New larger location just down the road same Amazing Pastries! The sticky buns, cromuffin, and cinnamon rolls are amazing, there are also several savory croissants. Normally there is a long line by the time they open and the new location does have more parking but it’s still tight.

This used to be my absolute favorite! What happened? The pastries were stale. I even asked if they had been fresh baked today and was told yes (with attitude) and so I trusted that was true. Wrong. I used to look forward to the beautiful pistachio cream stuffed croissant. Today it was crumbly and dry...nothing like it used to be.

Cute and cozy place but expensive bakery items but they are good. Good variety. Friendly staff.

We call this place Morning No Buns because there is never enough product to meet demand. I understand they are wary of overbaking but seriously its weird.

At 10 am pretty much the whole bakery was cleared out. All that was left was orange buns and an "apricot danish". The flavors were great however for my orange bun the dough part didn't get soft until I got into the center. The outside was quite dry/hard. Loved the orange taste tho. The apricot danish was good. The apricot jam was spread on top. I think the dough was a bit softer. Again once you got into the middle. I will have to come earlier in the morning so I'll can get more choices and fresh out of the oven too. Thanks for bringing bakery goods to this neighborhood! PS you must contact Waze as your address location is about half a mile away from where you're actually located! I had to check on Google maps to get here
