Came here for my 44th birthday and really enjoyed it. The portions were huge, great value. We started with the crab dip, which was big enough for 4. It had huge chunks of crab. The pretzel sticks weren’t the easiest to navigate with the dip but were themselves good. I had the house special potato crusted salmon. My dad had the prime rib. We both were happy. There was no room left for dessert unfortunately. Decent wine selection but beer options were limited. Would definitely recommend, especially when their outdoor patio is open.

A truly awful Valentine's dinner.We both ordered the Shrimp Imperial. After finishing our appetizers, we waited over 35 minutes for our entrees to arrive. (In the meantime, 3 tables that arrived long after us were served.) Our waitress was almost non-existent.The entree appeared to have been sitting a while (maybe under a heat lamp?) But the twice baked potato was so hot it obviously had been microwaved yet the veggie was cold and hard- not even edible. The shrimp had a consistency that I have never experienced before. It may have not been cooked enough because it was stringy, chewy and basically not consumable. I love shrimp and have had it many different ways and yet I could not eat it. The crab imperial had the texture of something warmed over. At $40 for each entree, we threw our money away!As we left, I stopped to tell the hostess how disappointed we were because we have had great meals there in the past. I briefly described our meal and its failures. She offered to get the waitress. We declined because her non-presence had been part of the problem. At that point the hostess said she was sorry, told us "Good Night" and turned away. We had been dismissed apparently.Never again!

We heard excellent reviews & finally were able to try The Cafe on 26. We completely agree with others! Our meals were excellent. They were delicious & flavorful. The dining areas are charming and clean. Our servers were knowledgeable and professional. We will definitely return to dine at The Cafe on 26!

The food at the Cafe is good. I ordered the Dry Scallops with mashed sweet potatoes and squash. The stuffed flounder was also enjoyed by the other guests. Cafe on 26 comes with some catches. There's a 3% up charge if you use a credit card. We dined with another couple and they would not give separate checks. Despite those drawbacks the restaurant is nicely decorated and provides a conducive atmosphere for dining. The service was good and worthy of going again.

Absolute gem Dinner at The Cafe on 26 was divine. This place tends to be booked so reservations in advance is highly recommended. The place is small but cozy, our waitress was very friendly, attentive and gave the group great recommendations. I went with the Signature Salmon Dish 10/10, the crispy potatoes on top were absolutely mouthwatering just thinking about it right now. They have a nice wine selection and I enjoyed my house Pinot Grigio 8/10. I cannot wait to be back!

Best fine dining at the beach! We eat here regularly and the food is always fresh and delicious!! This restaurant is the only restaurant in the area that truly understand gluten allergies and most menu items are gluten-free! Try the stuffed flounder!! I usually get the Cafe Fliet - so delicious.

The customer service was simply outstanding! We were fortunate to be seated in the upstairs wine room and were able to enjoy a quiet dinner with our good friends. The food was incredible and perfectly timed! Would highly recommend for a special dinner occasion! Can't wait to go back again soon!

Very nice place that my wife has been wanting to go to for a long time. We went to the 5:00 seating and got right in (need reservations). The food was excellent! I had the filet and it may be the best I've ever tasted. It's a little pricey but an excellent place to go for a special occasion.
