I’ve been to this little bagel shop several times, and overall, my experiences have been good enough to keep me coming back. The bagels are light, fluffy, and clearly homemade you can taste the quality and the care in the ingredients, which I really appreciate. The prices are fairly reasonable, and there’s something comforting about a spot that keeps things simple and fresh.
That said, I don’t eat meat, and there aren’t many (if any) plant-based or thoughtfully priced options for non-meat eaters. Paying the same price as a meat-based order when ingredients are clearly different feels a bit off, and I think that’s an area where they could improve with a little consideration and flexibility.
The vibe can be hit or miss sometimes it doesn’t feel especially warm or welcoming but the quality of the food is what keeps pulling me back. With a bit more inclusivity in the menu and a warmer customer experience, this place could really shine.

I always ask if they’d please slice my order of a dozen bagels (I cut myself once while trying to slice a bagel) and they are kind and take the time to do this for me.

Davellis Bagel Cafe is THAT place! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere, the service, and the professionalism were all top-tier. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on excellence.
And let me tell you — their specialty sandwiches are EVERYTHING! Fresh, flavorful, perfectly crafted, and truly in a league of their own. You can taste the love and quality in every bite.
The food overall is delicious, the service is outstanding, and the experience is consistently excellent and clean.
If you want quality, great service, and a place that treats you right, Davelli’s is the one.
🔥 Highly recommended I’ll definitely be back and bringing others with me!

The food is delicious but one worker here with dark hair and a baseball cap seemed very unenthusiastic. She was walking around, not answering calls, and I noticed cars waiting at the window for over 10 minutes to be seen, other workers were running around while she was on her phone. Will come again, but hopefully won't be served by her again.

Waiting 30 minutes just for a bagel and a coffee staff is rude. Do not recommend

Ordered a turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado on a toasted croissant. One of top 10 sandwiches I've ever had! Outstanding! Pretty good coffee as well.

I’ve given this place multiple chances and they continue to disappoint. The building is cute and quaint, always fairly clean. The bagels are decent, better than any other place in Seaford…so wanted this place to be our “go-to” for a weekend morning bagel. Unfortunately, they always miss the mark. Ordered 2 waffles, 2 breakfast sandwiches and 3 toasted bagels with cream cheese…simple order. Ordered at 9am…received an email stating order would be ready at 9:45am. 45 mins for that order seems a bit lengthy…but no complaints there. Arrived at 9:45am, order was ready. Great! Checked the bag and I’m missing 3 bagels. Literally half the order! Brought this to the attention of the girl taking the orders…”oh, that must’ve been the missing ticket.” No apology, just an excuse and acted as if they were annoyed. Taking over an hour for some bagels and a couple waffles is completely insane. After a six minute drive home, the bagel sandwiches were cold, the waffles were soggy and gross. Spending over $40 for this mess just seems wrong. And this hasn’t been the first issue, every visit is worse than the prior. This place could be great. Unfortunately it’s less than mediocre.
We hadn't been to Davelli's for over 2 years, as it had really gone downhill at one point. But we'd been hearing good things about it and decided to give it another try. It has definitely improved. For one thing it is much cleaner than it was before. The floor was clean and the tables were wiped down. Everything looked neat and clean. Our table top was very worn, but that was the only thing we saw that needed attention. And the food was very gpood. I had the California Cobb Sandwich. The turkey was good and the bacon was crisp. It was served on Foccacio Bread and I enjoyed it very much. My husband ordered a Ham and Cheese Sandwich on a lightly toasted Onion Bagel. After about 15 minutes they called our number and told my husband they were out of onion bagels. He asked for a garlic one instead. It took almost another 15 minutes to get our meal. And they weren't terribly busy, although they were doing a good carry out business. But almost a half an hour for 2 simple sandwiches is way too long a wait. The Ladies Room was clean. The prices are reasonable- $8.99 and $9.49 for a sandwich and a side isn't bad these days, although sodas are $2.99.
Not consistent with the quality of food they serve for what they charge.
Had the cranberry orange bagel and toasted marshmallow iced coffee, both were delicious. Short wait time and staff was super friendly

Good food, busy place. Short wait. Small interior, and tables hadn't been cleaned off for others to sit and eat.
