I ordered a meat hoe. The cold rice. I put it with a capital letter. COLD RICE. I ORDERED A HOT DOG DIS THAT SALVADORENO. AWFUL. TOO MUCH FAT. WATERPROOF ELNPAN CAME OUT EVERYTHING INEDIBLE. HORRIBLE FLAVOR. THE PUPUSA. AWFUL. I DID NOT LIKE. I GAVE A STAR BECAUSE I WAS NOT GOING TO GIVE ANY STARS. I WAS WRONG. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. ATOL. ELOTE IS ATOL OF I DON'T KNOW WHAT. I was excited to try this well-known popusa place for the first time and was terribly disappointed. The minute I walked in, the lady working was very unprofessional and made our experience so uncomfortable. Food was good…would’ve been a better experience if I hadn’t been given dirty looks or yelled at for asking questions.

I don't give him zero stars because I can't, they treat him so badly for basic things. Just asking for napkins (which the table didn't have) they give you a bad face and attitude, the payment systems don't work with cards (and they yell at you for not knowing like it was my fault??), they have no manners and they have Christian music and everything and this is what they represent? Hey man, I didn't get out because they already made me pay. What a shame because the food is good, but the service? It destroys everything. Take the food to go.I don't leave zero stars because I can't. They treat you so bad for basic things. I asked for napkins (which the table didn't have any) and they give you attitude and make faces AT YOU. The payment systems don't work with chip cards (and they yell at you for not knowing that like it's my fault??) no basic manners and worse of all they got Christian music playing and all this like that's how you represent? Man, I didn't leave because they made me pay when I ordered. What a shame causes the food is good but the attitude destroys everything.

My Son, Daughter-in-law, and I have ordered take out several times from Doña Maria's.?The food was fresh, very good and pretty quick. The people who worked there were sweet and pleasant.We did get flan quite a bit. It was delicious.Highly recommend it, at least try it. I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised.

I love this place so much. I get their pupusas every single time I am in town for work. They are so good, & so is the fried yuca, the flan, & the tres leches cake. The food here is absolutely delicious!

The food we had was excellent. We had the chicken soup which was huge and full of delicious vegetables. The broth was amazing, too. We also had three different pupusas - the shrimp and cheese, jalapeno and cheese and the bean and cheese. They were all very good. We also bought some flan which was most excellent.I will say that the area for dining in is not great and more of and old style pizza place. There are some nice painted murals on the wall. This is why I rated the atmosphere as only a 3. However, I would definitely eat there again.
