Stopped in for lunch with family on a Thursday afternoon. There was only one server so everything took longer than it should've. There was a mistake on my order but it was not the servers fault. The restaurant was empty but the food still arrived cold.

Went to IHop in Seaford De on 9/19/24. All I can say the service was terrible. When you came in the front door all the wait staff were sitting . We got seated and the waitress took our order then went outside with other waitresses , had a smoke and walk around the outside parking lot. Not a one of them when they came back inside went to wash their hands. We finally got our breakfast and that was the last we saw the waitress until we asked for our bill. Never asked how our breakfast was or if we wanted anymore coffee or tea. Yes these we kids who don’t know what work ethics are. The owner of this establishment should see what is going on. We will never be back or promote this I Hop.

The food looked good, but had no flavor. We ordered has browns and they were way overcooked. The server overshared her personal business. She was quite friendly and I can appreciate that, but I don't like that I have to hear problems from someone I don't know while I'm dining out.

We saw quite a few staff, but it seemed our waitress, Jennifer, was the only one working. She was running around, taking care of multiple tables. Other staff members standing around chatting, playing with a fidget toy.
The bathroom needs to be updated. The locks on stalls are held on with one screw. The faucet it not stationary.

I've shared on another spot, but from seating time to wait time to appearance...it hasn't changed in over 9 months!!! I ordered an omelet, my husband lunch...mine came up but was left under the heatlamp until his was done, thereby getting a cold omelet. The waitress mumbled, we could barely hear her...everyone looked like they were in last weeks clothes...I mean the whole place is unprofessional...and not friendly. It was not like we were paying their salaries...we will NEVER go again.
