Will always be one of my go tos! We always have great service here. Unfortunately today they had a hiccup. Took them 45 min to complete our take out order. They were slow, but I think there was only 1 or 2 cooks going. Waitresses were friendly, as always.The young man at the register, Greysen I think (according to the receipt) is a sharp young man. Instead of giving us our drink (which sat for 45 min) he chose to give us a fresh one, saying "I'm pretty sure they don't want a watered down drink".All in all, Smith's employees go above and beyond to keep their customers happy.

The food at this place is great. Wish I could say the same about the people that work there. We have picked up from there several times with the staff being rude. It's a shame to have great food and have staff to ruining it for the place.

A large group of about 18 people ate lunch there on Dec 6. When this was set up there was no mention of an automatic gratuity. We understand there is most always a gratuity for large parties, however, we were charged over 30% gratuity! There was only 1 server taking care of our group and she was horrible. I thought she was new but later informed she has 15 yrs experience. Food all came out at different times, she had to ask who had what meal, no one had their drink refilled until we were ready to go, and she never came back to see how things were. When we questioned about the tip at the checkout we were told by the two unconcerned staff members at checkout there was nothing they could do and the manager was not there. I called when I got home, manager still not there. I asked for a call back and have been waiting for 5 days. We will not be returning to this restaurant which is a shame since the food is good and prices are fair. There is just no need to scalp customers in a party with an insanely ridiculous gratuity...especially for poor service. Several of us will not return here due to this.
