Haven't been here in several years, now I know what, got chicken and dumplings, 1 large glob, extremely disappointed, they can and should do better, chef needs to take some lessons from a Sussex County cook on preparing of dumplings

This is definitely a great little diner. They are always busy but have great food and great prices. My mom lives out there and we go when I visit. The people that works there are so friendly.

It was dingy and dirty. The table was dirty, and when I asked for it it to be cleaned, a surly young man brought me a small soap bucket and tried to hand me a dish rag to clean it myself. I should have walked out, but against my better judgment, I stayed and ordered. It was pretty bad. Trust your gut feelings. I would NEVER go back.

Food over price,order coffee and breakfast vegetable omelet was way over cooked,toast was dried order it with butter and received 11 pieces of potatoes for home fries ,took 25 minutes to receive breakfast then ask for bill I had to go to the counter to get it. Bathroom smelled like it looked dirty.

I paid 27.99 for jumbo seafood get home there's no oyster cake, crab cake nasty had more filling than crab tasted like a bread cake, trout was deep fried but wasn't appearance looked like broiled. Called back next day told didn't get oyster cake lady said we out oyster gave u four more shrimp. Upon ordering I told waitress wanted jumbo seafood want oyster cake and trout and fried scallops which wasn't cooked completely so disappointed. I feel I should been told was out of oysters and they were substituting with shrimp if still wanted jumbo seafood but to get home thinking bout enjoy oysters cake not to have one so disappointing and for her to get attitude saying I should checked before I left.
Great food, very friendly staff, the cheesecake was the best I had in years. Great breakfast too.

Great little quiet restaurant. Food is decent, typical diner kind of taste. The Cakes and Pies are excellent though. We have always been treated well here. They can get pretty busy with their limited seating. Parking lot is shared with 2 other business'.Breakfast is great, but be prepared for a wait but its worth it.Lunch is usually pretty quick, and managed well.Dinner can get busy, but worth the wait as well.All in All, reminds me of home cooked meals!

To me the place is dirty and needs alot of updating. It took 40 minutes from the time we sat down to get our food. The restaurant only had 1 waitress working all the tables and on top of that there were KIDS filling people's glasses up with refills and even a kid taking dirty dishes away and wiping down tables. Never going back there. Also they charge you a surcharge if you use a Credit Card.
