The Wood Shed Bar is a true gem—an authentic, small-town bar with a charm you just don’t find everywhere. From the cozy atmosphere to the pool table that invites friendly competition, it’s the perfect spot to unwind. The bartender is absolutely phenomenal, making everyone feel right at home. If you’re looking for a no-frills, original experience, this is the place to be!

Cindy was the bar tender and everything was fine until the bar tab came up. I ordered for five people thought the night keeping track of what people drank since I’m competitive myself. She charged my friend for 7 tequila drinks which he had 4 and me the exact same for me which I had 4 jack Daniel’s and cokes along with one Budweiser. I had sober people keeping track aswell this night and immediately knew something was off. I confronted her and she paid my bill stating I ‘I hate when people think I’m over charging them’ then wishing me a merry Christmas refusing to talk to me. I was looking forward to giving her a good tip but once she got nasty I didn’t like what I saw and left. I wish she could keep track of what I drank like the cctv footage did.

Honestly, I've never been so mistreated as i was last night. My friend and I came to the woodshed last night around 11:40pm. We just wanted to a drink and a shot. Cindy, the bartender took it upon herself to ignore us for 20 minutes. She proceeded to wait on everyone around us. i was willing to ignore that, thinking that maybe because she was running not only the bar, but the package store as well that she had a lot going on. Fast forward to later on last night, I saw that come time to close, Cindy wasn’t kicking people out, in fact around 1am she was still sliding beers to other guests; so my friend wanted to play some music. My friend starts playing her music.. Cindy decides she doesn’t wanna hear it and turns it all the way down. Skip forward, now Cindy wants to play “Tennessee Whiskey” I’m guessing because it’s the song she chose that she decided to turn the music all the way back up… Weird. I, myself am a bartender, so I was trying to be polite and ask if she needed any assistance with closing. She completely ignored me. Fast forward to us leaving, I wanted to check to make sure that all our tabs were closed, and that she didn’t need anything else from us. With her back to me, she doesn’t turn around, i get an “Uh huh, that’s fine, whatever, goodnight”… The rudeness was uncalled for, I was just trying to be nice. We start walking back to my car, I guess she starts blaring the alarm as if we’re just sitting there… we were just getting to my car. my friend was saying goodbye to others that we were conversing with in the bar, Cindy proceeds to come out of the package store door, saying “Okay, we’re closed”… We know and we were leaving. Yet there were still multiple people inside..Cindy then proceeded to blare the alarm again, this time for longer… She comes out again to tell us they’re closed and that she’s going to call the cops.. We were only out of the bar for 3-5 minutes.. So we leave. I don’t know what her problem was but I would never recommend this place, nor would I recommend that she’s ever a bartender anywhere. You should find someone friendlier, and someone non discriminatory. This was my first experience here and she made it very clear that we weren’t welcome nor should we return.

Typical bar with a pool table and a jukebox. Had a Yuengling and it tasted a little sour, might have been first of the day. Bartender did not know WiFi password and cell service was sketchy inside.
