Thank you for the wonderful service

B Hensil

Kids salmon was maybe four bites so small! “Jumbo lump crab cake” was mostly all filler with very small pieces of crab therefore was very spicy! Hamburger was really good and chicken fingers for kids were good also. Guacamole very small amount too. Barely enough for an appetizer for one person.

Beautiful place. Great drinks. However if you are gluten free or a vegetarian they do not really cater to that beside a salad. I loved the tacos when they had GF. I hope they bring them back

Just ate here for the first time with some girlfriends. Everyone was spectacular, from our hostess who seated us to Kate, our wonderful waitress. Our food came out quickly, and it was hot. Granted, we were between lunch and dinner so there wasnt a crowd, but it was a crazy weather day. We sat on the covered porch with a view of the bay where there was a great breeze. Our trip was an unexpected surprise here, and we will be back for sure. The food, atmosphere and employees have all been amazing!

Very crowded over the Memorial Day weekend; weekdays not so much; limited menu

It's a good place to visit.

The view is to die for as are the Lobster Rolls. Visiting 38° is worth the effort. More on that below. But let's talk lobster. This was one of the BEST lobster rolls we've had and the view is spectacular.
See the pictures! It had to be a half pound of claw and tail, just enough mayo to hold it together and seasoned perfectly all served on a toasted brioche style split roll. Superb! Could not finish it all - had to take half home. DELISH.

Now....here's why I took off a STAR ....they do NOT serve Pinot Grigio. Wait, what? How? Why? It's a summer place! My Mom was almost walked out! LOL Dad was also kinda bummed they didn't serve San Pellegrino water or Perrier -- but he settled for club soda.
My Orange Crush was awesome. Service was great! Don't take the bad service reviews to heart, sometimes servers are over worked and it's a hard job. Tip well for good karma!

How to find this elusive but worth the drive waterside spot. Go into the Bayside complex off of 54 past Harris Teeter and start following the white directional signs to 38°. It's gonna be a lot of twists and turns but totally worth it.

Parking: Parking for Beach Buggies and golf carts, too!

Really nice view though the bay brings in winds, very nice casual dinner spot. The food doesn’t take too long but isn’t quick, however it’s definitely worth the wait and the staff is very friendly.

Since we've been in the midst of a heat wave I was concerned that it would be unacceptable dining outside, however, we enjoyed our lovely lunch under pleasant conditions due to the roof, fans and water breezes. Many thanks to the friendly and efficient wait staff. They were great.
