We went for a birthday dinner with a few friends. The food was good and reasonably priced. There were 8 people in our party and we all found plenty of choices. Three server (sorry I don't remember her name) was very friendly, thoroughly knew the menu and made excellent recommendations. We also went on a day when there was a good discount on the meal. The ONLY down side was we seated too close to the front door on a very cold and windy day.

We came here for New Year’s Eve at the beach and were seated immediately at the bar without having reservations. On Wednesdays they do one dollar oysters on the half shell & they’re not to be missed! Very tasty. They also have great shrimp plates- Baltimore style and the pours of wine are generous. Great meal and great service even though it was a full house. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

We have been a customer for many years. Tonight was a major disappointment. The menu changed and is very limited. There were 4 of us and not one of us were happy about their meal. They use to have some great dishes and lots of choices. What happened to the country fried chicken, the scallop fried rice bowl. They had a great fish and chips and buttermilk shrimp. Totally disappointed.

We came here last night for dinner with Family. It’s always been our go to spot however, we were beyond disappointed to learn our favorite dish (Country Fried Chicken w/ corn over mashed potatoes) was removed from the menu. All 6 adults planned on ordering it. On our drive from Baltimore we mentioned to each other multiple times how excited we were for the chicken! My husband wanted to leave but we all agreed that would be silly. He ended up getting burger and he liked it, I couldn’t find anything on the main menu that I thought I’d really like so I had one of the specials and it was good. The duck fat fries were amazing! We’re very sad that the chicken is off the menu, I don’t know if I’ll be able to convince my husband to go back as he’s a sort of picky eater. Our Aunt and Uncle live about a mile down the road and they plan to check on the menu regularly to see if the chicken dish comes back! I’m praying it does!

We had a group of 20+ to celebrate 2 birthdays last night. Not very welcoming. Our server was fantastic, however ordered Tanquery and tonic, was bottom shelf, bartender was slamming dishes, heard hostess tell people that a party took over the bar area while rolling her eyes. If it had not been for us supposedly taking over the bar there were only 8 people waiting to be seated. Will not go back again! Sodel better get their act together! Haven't been to Cottage Cafe since they took over, and now Northeast Seafood Kitchen seems to be having problems too, and we usually go there every week

Had a wonderful meal. My fries were cold but received a hot order within a couple of minutes. Service was great, attentive.

Came in yesterday for dinner with my girlfriend and we sat at the upstairs bar. The service from Mike was great. We ordered the Mussels; about 1/3 of the mussels tasted old and fishy like they were from an old batch, while the other 2/3 tasted great.

We ordered the blackened mahi mahi on a Caesar salad, it was great 9/10.

Unfortunately the Crab Cakes were terrible. Assuming the 1/2 price of Market Price meant a great meal; not so. There was NO jumbo lump or lump crabmeat. It was 100% filler and string crab meat. Honestly, you could buy a premade crabcake at the Giant and probably would be better. Our best guess is they change their recipe for 1/2 price crabcake night; beware.

Not sure if the restaurant wants to do anything about this, but we paid over $150 for the meal and drinks and the $30 or so spent on the crabcakes was a waste. Fries are ok and they give a tiny portion of coleslaw.

Best Seafood Restaurant in Delaware? Almost laughable, not even in the contention.

Great spot for happy hours values. Plenty of areas to sit comfortably with parties of 5 or more. Parking can be challenging but obtainable. View is amazing.
