Our first time at Mio's and it was Great! Jeannie was our bartender and made us feel welcome immediately. The food was perfect and the other guests were fantastic. What a wonderful place for a long afternoon lunch! We will be back often!

We really like going to Mios kind of a hidden gem. Food is always excellent and very fair priced based on the portions. Service can be hit or miss and the dining room space is kind of weird.

Bad food, crappy service. Dirty dishes. Over priced. Avoid. Especially the dinner theater. You can can get better food at your Elementary School cafeteria

I’m not a big person on slamming a business or talking bad about one in my small town. But when you come into a restaurant that is not busy at all at 5:30 you would assume that you would be in and out maybe an hour. The staff and manager only wanted to cater to what seemed to be the more dressed up crowd and the party going on in the “loft” section. We waited 2 hours for our dinner, we got a 14 oz steak and a chicken parm. Unless you are killing the cow in the back and the chicken I could see why it would take that long. The manager never came out once to talk to us, the waiter kept pushing us off just another couple minutes. People came in after us got fed before us and left before us. This place is horrible my first time here and I’ll never be back and a 1 star is not even worthy.

I haven't been to Mio's in many years despite being a part time resident nearby. My husband and I went with another couple. We didn't have a reservation but the restaurant was half empty. We were asked if we had a reservation and were told tables were being held for those with reservations but we could be seated right away. Oddly enough, as people finished their meals, others weren't being seated so it was pretty empty when we left. Where were all the people with reservations? Anyway, 2 of us ordered chicken primavera off of the specials menu and one had mussels also off of the specials menu. One friend ordered a pasta dish. The chicken primavera was described as "...chicken and mixed vegetables served with choice of pasta". I try to eat low carb so I asked if I could sub the pasta for something else. I decided on broccoli even though the server said it would be a "couple" of dollars extra. When our meals arrived, my portion was half the size of my friend's and had no vegetables other than a few pieces of broccoli. Hers had chicken on top of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots, all on top of pasta. I didn't want to complain and ate it anyway, but when the bill came, I was charged $5 for the little bit of broccoli! I explained that I did not get the mixed vegetables and asked her to take the $5 off. She asked the manager who agreed. Everyone else liked their meals a lot. I'll go back and give them another try, but I'll do it reluctantly.

Great happy hour!! A must and stay for dinner. Chef made food fresh and fabulous. Steaks are great, lobster is too! Was not happy with portion size of chicken Marsala Two really small pieces of chicken for 26$

Given the hype, I was not impressed. My pasta was undercooked and the service was sub par. Price was higher than average restaurant so I expected better.

On my first visit 5 yrs ago, I noticed the bar staff serving tables..Bad Sign until I had a bite of the bolognaise. Then became hooked..a reg customer for 3 yrs until recently. What used to be Bolognese is now meat sauce and the meat sauce has no meat. Adding insult to injury, the linguini was overcooked. Still, it's a nice Italian restaurant just steer clear of the Bolognese.
