Stopped by this place on our way to Ocean City and I'm so glad we did. Welcoming staff and delicious food! I ordered stuffed shrimp and they did not short change on the crab meat like some places I've eaten. My son had the burger and it was one of the best I've tasted in a while. Fresh cut French fries to compliment it as well. No complaints about anything!

Going to lose alot of business now you have to spend more than 20.00 for them to deliver your food and they still charge you a delivery fee. Crazy our business won't be ordering from them ever again. Will go to doyles or Rofo ti already charge someone is enough but now you have to spend more an be charged a fee is crazy. Girl who work the phones are great but the owner is nuts.

Heading home from OC, we stopped here for breakfast. So glad we did. We got traditional things: eggs, omelet, home fries, biscuit, bkfast meats, coffee. And sweet potato pancakes!!! The place had a great vibe with classic country music playing. My husband & I enjoyed listening to songs we hadn't heard since the 1970s & somehow remembering lyrics! Flo was our waitress. Great service!! She's got the rhythm, if you know what I mean --- very attentive without being overbearing; kind and friendly without being disingenuous; years of experience without being apathetic. Even though beach travelers eat here, this restaurant is clearly a hometown place. The sense of community is apparent between Flo and regular customers. On The Way Café is now our go-to whenever we're 'on the way' in Ocean City!

The prices have gone up astronomically. Ordered from them for years. When it cost $30 for six wings and a cheeseburger, This family is done going there.

Overall the food was great, but when something is on the way, and called On The Way, you kind of expect it to be quick, to get you back on your way. Sadly, that wasn’t the case. Breakfast for two took over an hour, and we waited at least 35 minutes for simple meals consisting of eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc. The servers seemed awfully distracted with locals and regulars, and it wasn’t until the restaurant was fairly busy until they started churning out orders.
I have been there for breakfast several times with a large group. We are like to sit and talk which is fine with them. They are willing to accept substitutions (fruit for hash browns). Separate checks are no problem. No automatic service charge for large groups. Both cash and credit are accepted. Everyone in our group went home well fed and happy. There is a parking lot. The restaurant is on 113 N, the entrance can be a little hard to spot.
