Smitty McGee's Raw Bar & Restaurant

Awesome place, great atmosphere, good food, and cold beer!!! Very sad to see it close…..

Smitty Magee’s announced today that they were closed and thanked everyone for a wonderful run. Rumors are circulating that the restaurant has been purchased by the group that runs the Fin’s chain.

Went to Smitty McGee’s 1/8/22 for dinner, sat at the bar, order food. Sat there for 45 minutes and watched them bring out carry out food many times, meal while still waiting for our order. The food when we got it was cold., been going to Smittys for 17years we were very disappointed and sorry to say we will not be going back any time soon.The quality has been declining for several years.

Not crowded but most tables were dirty or not cleared. Bar guy never acknowledged us and talked to 2 people at the bar. Older guys sitting around that seemed to be blowing time. No menus and no server. Got up and left after 10 minutes with just sitting there with bar guy indicating he could care less. Guess making $ for this place not a priority. Unbelievable.

Food always good and always friendly staff too!

Went for first time with friends. Food served quickly,great staff,good menu, good drinks. Atmosphere good for a Sunday football day. Only issue was gar tender using four letter words(not appreciated) to cheer on football on TV

I used to love this place, but as I was driving by the other day there was a four-alarm fire there! Fire trucks from all over the counties, we're racing past me! Not sure if this place exists anymore. A darn shame ?

This used to be one of our favorite places to visit, but it is in dire need of a refresh.The food quality has definitely fell off and the interior is really showing it's age.Hopefully they can get things turned around , until then we will have to go elsewhere.

Slow service, not a welcoming vibe. Clearly the locals rule here.. Pretzel logs were delish, the high point of our visit. Drinks were ok but super slow to be replenished.

Although short staffed, service was great. No long wait for food and the owner was on the floor hard at work. Thumbs up!

Stopped with my wife and 4 friends for lunch. We were seated right away and Danny quickly came by to take drink orders. It's early so we had waters, soda and iced tea. Our food arrived quickly after we placed our orders. Several BLTs, a crabby chicken and 1 burger. Everything was delicious. Danny brought drink refills without being asked and kept everyone happy.Good food and great service by Danny. Highly recommend.

It was a very good experience I love smithy

Good place for a raw bar. Enjoyed oysters on the half with a cold beer. The Bar tender was friendly and attentive. Would make this a must destination when at the beach!

Had the Ruben and wife had the but. Both were very good. I thought the Ruben had more then ample meats and taste was very good. But was good but not the best she ever had. Crabby tots was not good to us. Lacked one ingredient which to us was most important and that was the crab. We felt we had cream cheese tots and was very disappointed.
