I've been going here for 40 years, I ordered number 1 crabs and they were so small, the claw was half the size of my finger. Never again.

Great birthday venue for seafood lovers!! Reserved for a large party and everything went very well. The service and food were excellent!

is the food could only catch up to the atmosphere? it would be five stars. crab cake sandwich which was expensive was one of the worst I ever had. and and I will not order it again. cream of crab soup was a fail, but the clam strips were good. good. service was very good.

Steamed scallops and friend rockfish were excellent. Ribs were ok, but better off going somewhere else if that's what you're looking for. Prices were very reasonable. Went around 1pm and wasn't too busy, but hear it picks up around 4pm. Many folks around us were getting crabs and they looked great. Beer prices were decent and they had a limited selection of novelty cocktails, which is exactly what I want to see at a place like Bookdocks.

Dietary restrictions: Don't go if you're allergic to shellfish

Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming of children, we had 3 with us as the time. Kids LOVED the Mac and cheese.

I went to a reunion here and I witnessed Heather peeling a man's shrimp who was not able to do it himself. That to me, is going way above and beyond. Heather you are a wonderful human!

our first time here. our timing was perfect. when we showed up it wasn't overly crowded but when we left it was filling up.the food was very good. hot and fast.

Parking: Parking lot is a reasonable size and always I found a good spot. And Handicap space are perfect if you drive a van or just exactly perfect location for them.

Kid-friendliness: Waitress are so friendly and kind with kids nice lollipop treat for kids. Photo area for kids and the little ones high chair

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty space to go in restaurant and perfect locations.

Parking: There was so many cars there, we thought we would be waiting an hour to be seated, but there was plenty of room inside. I swear we have never gotten our food order delivered so fast. The parking wasn't a problem because, from the time we walked in to the time we left was 20-25 minutes, tops. And the meals were awesome.
