In an age so often marked by haste and the careless assembly of things, it is a small but genuine delight to encounter a place where craft still matters. This Capriotti’s location offers such an encounter. I recently had a cheesesteak, and found it to be not merely satisfactory, but precisely what one hopes such a sandwich might be: warm, balanced, and thoughtfully composed.

Been there many times, and this was the first time everything was done the way I asked. I was a walk in and they were hustling at peak lunch time and I only had to wait 10 minutes. Great crew.

After reading some older reviews, I wanted to share my recent experience at Capriotti's in Smyrna, DE. The 52% rating I saw online doesn't do this place justice! I had a fantastic cheesesteak with onions, peppers, and provolone cheese, and it was absolutely delicious.
