It was absolutely worth the drive! We had the pulled pork sandwich, mac and cheese, collared greens, and beef brisket. Since we came from a far we ate in the car. They do have outdoor seating once it becomes warm it would be nice. Everyone was so welcoming. The food was great!!! Did not disappoint at all!

Let me just tell you! This place has a five star for a reason! Those cowboy baked beans AMAZING, pulled pork AMAZING, Mac and cheese AMAZING! I genuinely think pit daddy's bbq is close to if not the best bbq in Kent County! The gentleman always taking my order is super nice! I want to say he's the owner but I could be wrong! But he's a very nice man always smiling! The one thing I wish they had would be indoor seating! I think if they expanded and made a place where you could eat inside and at the place itself would make it 10x better! If you're passing through the Big Oak area south of smyrna I 100% recommend stopping by if they're open!

Man this food was so good, I forgot to even take a picture! I got the brisket sandwich platter with the Mac and greens. That brisket was so succulent and moist but lean at the same time, I don't even know how that's possible! It was packed with flavor and my plate was packed too. The greens were seasoned nicely, it had a nice kick to them. The Mac was on the attack from the first bite. Normally from restaurants the Mac is bland, watery like soup and taste like disappointment. But this Mac n cheese right here! Taste like success in your sunday best. Go get you some, because I'll definitely be back again like hair on your chin. 5 all day on the play.

The food here is wonderful! The pulled pork is moist with a good balance of smoky and sweet. The coleslaw honors the flavor of cabbage by using only a light sauce and the baked beans are an excellent combination of ground meat and beans. Wish I lived closer!

No skimpy portions!Mac+Cheese baked homemade style.We are definitely going to be regular customers!Curbside service or eat there at the picnic tables. Everybody so friendly, even the man trimming the grass!Wheelchair accessibility: Nice wide wheelchair friendly ramp up to the ordering window and outdoor picnic table area.

Food was on point. Really wanted brisket, but he was out. The pulled pork was great. I'm not usually a fan of collard greens, but they were good. The Mac and cheese has plenty of cheese and flavor.
