I recently had a birthday party and used Scraped The Plate to cater the event. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered fried fish, wings with 3 different sauces, Mac and cheese, yams, string beans, salmon rice, banana pudding, just to name a few. My guests kept asking me and my husband who the name of the caterers were. These caterers will definitely be our go to for any future events. Thank you ladies for the amazing food.

Oh my….Me and My husband never heard of or knew about “Scraped The Plate” food truck. The food truck was walking distance from our home. We walked over to the location for a water ice and spotted the food truck. I told my husband he should grab something to eat for work and he ordered the “Salmon steak.”’ He gave half of his. Really the best salmon steak I ever had. I am really impressed and now that I have the schedule of where the truck will be for the Month of May, already have my dates when we will be back! Super good! Very professional customer service! To the owner and staff! You really have blessed hands! What a Great Business you have! Thank you for the excellent Food you create and serve! 😃

Today was my first time ever hearing of this catering service. I am SO HAPPY I have gotten to experience their food. I had gotten 4 party wings with double sides of collard greens. For me i guess i was disappointed. Let me start by saying the ladies have great energy, thts not an issue at all. Thankful for tht. At the same time though, we came for food not friends and I’m sorry to sound tht way. Food- The shrimp was really good, had strong flavor tht was a plus. The Mac based off the reviews, i thought was gonna be bomb. It wasn’t. There seems to be this new trend at some of the soul food spots were the Mac is becoming more seasoning .. less cheese. For me, i dnt want heavily seasoned “pasta”. I want tht old school baked Mac N Cheese if thts wht ur displaying it as. It was some wht dry, no cheese sauce running through it. It has tht light brown tint to it(thts the heavy seasons), but cheese is yellow. I truly wasn’t a fan didn’t even finish it an i paid $8 for it. Please dnt season my Mac like it’s fried chicken ,please. The yams were ..ok. Could have used just a bit more sweatness(i nvr like them too sweat so these were just slightly lacking). Certainly needed more butter, an could use easing up on the cinnamon. All an all my experience was ok. Not something I’m running back to and i really wanted to like it. There has yet to be anyone coming close to Tomeka’s mac n cheese, and Aunt Mary’s yams. I guess i will have to continue to piece my meals together when going out for soul food smh. I have to be honest.

I finally had the opportunity to order from Scraped The Plate and I was not let down! As a selective 'Food Truck Foodie,' I was thoroughly impressed by the freshness and flavor of each item. I opted for the 'Alldat' meal, which allowed me to sample a bit of everything, and I was pleased to find that each dish was seasoned to perfection. The 'drip' was indeed 'dripping' and I will definitely be returning for more! Thank you for the exceptional experience!
