I’ve had the Italian Sub and Cheesesteak here and both were excellent. The kitchen and facility are very clean and obviously taken care of. Staff is also very friendly. Will certainly be back!

The food is VERY reasonably priced for what it is. I have ordered from this deli 4 times now, and each time the quality has been very good. The sandwich pictured is $10.99 (fries included) and make no mistake, it IS filling. This is a basic deli experience, so for the very few folks that complain, I’m not quite sure what they expect. The wait times are slightly longer but if you actually watch them, they take their time to ensure the quality of the product is at its best. If you’re in a rush, I would simply recommend calling ahead. Overall, for what this deli is trying to be, they absolutely nail it. Will definitely be going back.

Ordered a chick cheesesteak and the toppings i requested were not there. I called to inform them and the response was 'thank u for letting us know ". Where is the resolution? I don't want just a meat and cheese sandwich ? 1st and last time. I work too hard for my money. This was supposed to be a nice treat ?

Wow!! I have heard wonderful things about this deli!! I ordered a cheesesteak wrap and let me tell you that the bread was toasted just right! The meat was tasty and tender. Delicious pickles, tomatoes, and lettuce! I chose the curly fries which were absolutely yummy, very crispy with the right amount of spice, too! The service was amazing. The people who work there were friendly, considerate, and seemed to enjoy their job!! Only here in Townsend since April, this is a business to frequent for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You won't be sorry!!!

Food was not what I was expecting with small portions. Children cheese steak was bland, fries were soggy and the mozzarella sticks looked like they picked them up at Walmart with the heinz marinara. That and two bottles of soda not worth $27.
I'm going to stick with Little Italy. They have been the best in the area for many years and they're price is on point. I'm sorry I strayed.

Great food and friendly service. With the menu is growing, including fresh sliced deli meat, is great news. I wish you much success! Welcome to the neighborhood Townsend Deli, so glad you’re here ?

Had the gyro, there was hardly any meat for the price compared to other places and it was way too crispy. On the other hand, the cheesesteak was good.

I was attempting to eat at this new deli for the first time tonight, I drove up from Smyrna because there is nothing great to eat around our town. I wanted to order a cheesesteak, something simple. The place was clean and staff friendly. I saw a cheesesteak being wrapped up before I could place my order and I'm glad I saw it. For $10.50 for a 12 inch cheesesteak that was just about all roll with very little meat at all on it. The employee asked me if I wanted to order one and I expressed my dissatisfaction with what they were selling. While it might have tasted good, it had nothing to it. The employee totally agreed with me. I'm a self employed chefs in food service and would never serve something like that to one of my customers. Ended up driving to Middletown a bit further up to Ochinilis Steaks and spent a little bit more but was well worth the extra drive and not wasting my money at the Townsend Deli. Serving tiny portions for bigger prices will kill their customer base quickly
