We finally tried Lil Pesces in Alford, FL today — and y’all, what a hidden gem right off 231!
We kicked things off with mozzarella sticks and marinara that actually had flavor (not the bland stuff you usually get). Crispy, cheesy, and that marinara? 👌
For entrées, we ordered the Shrimp Alfredo, Spaghetti & Meatballs, and Chicken Parmesan. Each plate came with a hot piece of garlic bread and let me tell you… I could’ve eaten everyone’s bread. It was that good. I even ordered more to take home for the leftovers.
🍝 Spaghetti & Meatballs – The meatballs were homemade, the sauce tasted fresh without being overly acidic, and my son absolutely loved it. Honestly gave “Lady and the Tramp” vibes in the best way.
🍗 Chicken Parmesan – A flavorful breaded chicken breast on a bed of spaghetti, topped with extra sauce and melted cheese. Classic, comforting, and done right.
🍤 Shrimp Alfredo – I’ve had a lot of Alfredo in my day, but this might be one of the best. Penne noodles, plenty of creamy, garlicky Alfredo sauce, and perfectly cooked shrimp. I would go back just for this dish.
The lunch portions were huge — plenty to take home for later. Service is on the slower side, but that’s because everything is made fresh to order. Their menu even mentions it may take at least 30 minutes, and honestly, it’s worth every second for that homemade Italian goodness.
They also have a cute outdoor seating area, making it a nice spot to enjoy the Florida breeze. Whether you’re passing through or looking for a cozy date night, Lil Pesces is worth the stop. 🍷✨

I was there with my family. I had the Chicken Alfredo and it was good but not great. My daughter had the personal pizza and it came out at least 10 minutes before my food was ready. Id prefer the food come at the same time. I typically judge the service by whether or not the drink gets empty and while the young girl was nice, her serving skills are lacking a little. I had to get her attention to get more tea. The place is small and thats fine with me because the seating was still very comfortable but I can tell that she isnt depending on her tips to make a living. All in all, I think it was a decent meal but it wouldn't be my first choice.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Awesome food. My husband got spaghetti and meatballs and I got a hamburger. Both were delicious! we’ve lived here 10 years and I’m sad we just found it. Will definitely go back! 😍

These folks serve literally the best lasagna we've ever had. The meat, pasta, sauce, and ricotta layers were perfectly balanced. Redfish in lemon butter wine sauce over angel hair pasta was an excellent entree too. Fish was lightly breaded and complimented by the delicate sauce seasoned with capers. Our compliments to the chef!

Went in for a midday snack. The fried Ravioli was absolutely great. Not to mention the atmosphere. It was a great experience for a layed back afternoon snack. Thank you, Judy.

The Lasagna is better than Olive Garden and I absolutely loved it! The Cesar dressing wasn’t too powerful, was just perfect and the bread was amazing!
What an incredible gem!!! I have dined in some of the most well known restaurants in the biggest cities in America where you expect an excellent meal but to find such a gem in a remote setting in the Panhandle of Florida was indeed a pleasure. The level of authentic Italian fine dining rivaled some if the best meals I have enjoyed in NYC, Chicago, San Francisco and was even reminiscent of Venice, Italy!
