Took my girlfriend for the first time for late lunch, after about an hour of getting home I started getting sick. Was sick all night and had to take the day off work. I have ate at this location for over 10 years and never had a problem. Bad experience yesterday.

I ordered Carme asada, Steak was hard and hard to chew. Server was too busy to even refilled my cup, no napkins were placed with out meal I had to wait to end of our meal to obtain napkins. My husband ordered chicken a la parrilla. He usually eats all his food and what’s left of mines and we could even stomach the meal. Food has a nasty taste to it! Very disappointed! Never again! Idk how they’ve stayed opened this long!

First time to try curbside order & it was a wonderful experience. Loved the margaritas in a sealed jug.

My wife and I are longtime patrons of Amigos. We love their freshly made salsa that comes with their complimentary chips when sat. Their fajitas are great and come with an oval platter with ample amounts of cheese, lettuce, pico de Gallo, refried beans, and sour cream.

Lunch portions are just right. Service is good, especially on a lunch break from work.

Spent our 27th wedding anniversary at our favorite restaurant. Such a wonderful night thank you so much to the kind and caring staff and as always the best owner in the world , thank you so much Mark for a wonderful evening. Great food and such great atmosphere.

Awesome food, great service! Food as good as it was since it opened in 1988! I first visited Amigo's shortly after it opened, and it became a favorite for my hubby & I. Authentic Tex Mex, generous portions ( and great owner Nell!),all combined to make this a favorite destination for lunch and dinner. This was first restaurant we visited with my then 3 day old daughter 21 yrs ago. We just moved back to Altamonte Springs, and I took my daughter there for her 21st birthday. This was shortly after it re-opened for dine in, and the food & strawberry margaritas were just as awesome as they were previously. Today, my husband and I went for lunch, and I inquired about the out of print cookbook written by the original owner, Miss Nell that I'd lost. The awesome waiter Nick was not familiar with it, so he had the new owner (Mark) come out to talk with us. Mark was a long time employee of the restaurant until he purchased it a few years ago, and we had a great conversation reminiscing about the earlier years-- and I got my much missed cookbook! I'm not going to wax poetic about this item or that item-- YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH ANYTHING ON THE MENU! Do yourself a favor and visit this place in Altamonte Springs-- you will thank me for the recommendation. Hopefully, you'll be lucky enough to have Nick serve you!

Great local place. Been coming here for over 20 years. Wait staff is friendly, food is fabulous- with the caveat that you should find a favorite dish and stick with that because they'll learn to make it to suit your taste but dish hopping may lead to disappointment.

I have been dining at Amigo's for over 20 years, and it is still my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant. The margaritas are divine, the tamales are perfect, and the re-fried beans are the best I've ever had anywhere. I am only sad that the Winter Park location closed several years ago, because it was closer to my house.

Love this place for dinner. The fajitas are amazing! I always get their flautas appetizer, and of course who doesn't love chips and salsa to get you started!?
