Bubbalou's Bodacious Bar-B-Que - Altamonte Springs

Went in there to pick up order today. The cashier was extremely pleasant. Ordered beef brisket sandwich and Brunswick stew. Super friendly gentleman brought it out to me, appeared to be the cook. On the way home, I ate the sandwich, and it was absolutely the best brisket I’ve had in years. Will definitely make a trip to Altamonte again to get the best barbecue in town.

This place use to always be busy back in the day. However, the last few times I've been around, there's usually only one or two tables being used. I got the baby back dinner. Dry/overcooked, or maybe recooked, ribs. Sour coleslaw, soggy bread. The bottled of Coors light beer, and the baked beans, that were boiling hot, were the only tastey things. While eating, I saw one of the cooks on the line pull his phone out of his pocket with his gloves. Typed something, then put the phone back into his pocket. Then with the same gloves went right back touching people's food... Can someone say ecoli? I grew up in Altamonte. This was the place to go. Is there new management cutting cornes??? What happened to this place? I hope I don't get sick.. I think I'll pass by this one next time when I'm craving some BBQ.

Came here on a recommendation but was disappointed. BBQ sauce was watery and not super flavorful. Prices were a bit high: $37 for 2 lunches and we're still hungry. The sweet tea also was just ehh. We won't be back unfortunately. Prefer Sonny's to be honest.

Got a Rib basket and it was literally 2 ribs in the tray (supposed to be 3 or 4), $2 extra for fried orca and it was burnt and too salty… I tried to call for a correcting and never got an answer … Yall should be ashamed because what was even that ??

I love bubbalous but this brisket basket is not worth the almost 20 bucks I payed for. like I said I love bubbalous and I've been a customer for long time even worked there and this is poor quality. Disappointed.

Five stars all around. I live very close to this location and have been a couple times, I will be coming back more often. Tasty BBQ, reasonably priced. On par with a lot of BBQ I tried in TX.

Meat is tender and flavorful and they really put effort into the sides: the fries were crispy and perfect, cabbage was a nice complement, and the baked beans are delicious.

Oh and they have good sweet tea, kinda a given for BBQ.

The service was average. There are no servers which was fine. The food was a wreck. I got the baby back rib sandwich wasn’t a sandwich and the ribs were tough. The beans tasted rotted and the Mac and cheese tasted like nickels. When given a drink cup there was hair on the new cups already and the host watched me pick it off instead of giving me another cup. My partner got a pulled pork sandwich that was ok. All for 45 dollars and left hungry.

The chicken was bloody I couldn’t finish it and after I asked for to be well done. Very little food for the price.
Manager rude she argued that is the way it is, no apology and not refund. I won’t go again.?

Best pulled pork in town!

I love love love the Killer BBQ sauce, but beware it is delicious but very very hot. You might want to very lightly to begin with or cut it with another bbq sauce.
