Crafty Crab Altamonte Springs

The fried shrimp and scallops were delicious, and the sweet potato fries were well-seasoned and crispy. The crab boil was excellent. Also the service was attentive. Come early for a shorter wait time.

Everything is cooked in a plastic bag with seasonings that makes it all taste the same. Lobster tastes like shrimp and crab, and was very 'chewy' or rubbery. Corn tastes like everything else.
I prefer my food to have individual flavors, not all alike.
IMO, not worth the price; might as well be a crayfish boil.

This place definitely is a vibe. Can't wait to go back. Kinda expensive with average plate being $35 & up, but u only live once.

Gumbo is superb. Crab portions run a little lean and a little too high, especially since local fresh seafood is plentiful in Orlando. Mussels we're going bad. But food is overall tasty. However, Service is atrocious. No one bussed our table the entire time, filthy dishes. Wet naps, plastic bags (crab boil y'all) and not one person attempted to clear anything. Manager stood there starting at servers obviously in the weeds and offered no help, and greeted no one. If they close in six months, hopefully they realize why. Do yourself a favor and visit King Cajun instead.

Are groups stopped by after playing golf. I had a cup of gumbo and the catfish basket. The gumbo was delicious. The catfish was okay, but a little salty. Everyone did enjoy their lunch and we agreed that we would come back in the future.

Food was disgustingly paid over 100 just for shrimp to be soft like mash potatoes I would never go back to this one my 1st bad experience at crafty crab and I was only offered to remake it if I didn’t like it the 1st time I dang sho ain’t gone like it after again zero stars really

Super friendly service and yummy seafood, this owner is very picky of seafood quality. You can get quality seafood in Fair price.

On 10/25/2025 my husband and I placed a takeout order. He ordered crabs with shrimp and as usual his was on point. I DO NOT eat crabs so I decided to try the wings, they were NOT FULLY COOKED and the appearance of them was horrible. I usually would take something that looks that disgusting back but we were getting heavy rain and didn’t wanna keep going in and out in that kind of weather. I had to toss them in the trash 🤢

Always a hit!

Ordered TO-GO to be courteous of how late it was (ordered at 9, they closed at 10) upon arrival, was told they are only doing TO-GO order. I informed the manager I already ordered and planned on eating there and will be done before they close. She said, we already cleaned up and I don’t want to deal with that. literally argued me down then finally, with an attitude, said we can dine in but must leave before 10. I was so offended and disappointed because this was my first time here. Never again.

I loved this place. The food was really good. The atmosphere was dope due to the music playing and the service was amazing. Loved it. Will go again.
