I use to order food from here about 16 years ago when I work at the Home Depot across the street and we knew to order 1hr ahead because they were so busy. We always loved there food and all of us girls would order together for free delivery. It had been a while since I had ordered from here and the food is still fabulous there’s a little bit of a wait but there’s no rushing great food. The lady at the register I don’t remember her name is very nice. I have been back a few times and the food reminds me of when I use to live in Miami and my neighbors would cook. Pastelitos are really really good.

Every time you have Doordash go to this location they claim to have problems with their machines and they can't make your order. This happened twice now. There will not be a third for I will order from another cuban sandwich shop.
Have attempted to go thrice when the web says they're open only to arrive and not a soul is on site. Please update your hours and be transparent about when you are open

Giving it 3 stars because they rarely are open or ever answer the phone. The steak sandwiches are bomb, I just wish they were more transparent on their opening and closing times. They close randomly throughout the day or don't open at all.

I ate here today for the first time, and it was amazing. The nice woman at the front gave us samples of the pork and beef, I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a bite to eat in the area.

So glad my partner and I couldn't decide where to go for lunch. We just randomly picked this spot, on a whim, and now have a new favorite spot for Cuban food.The lady working the counter was an absolute gem. Bustling back and forth to grab anything the customers requested, whilst handling takeout orders and the register. Super polite, but always in the zone.We grabbed a chicken empanada and a papa rellena, to split. She grabbed a traditional Cuban, and I went for the Medianoche (Midnight), which is the same ingredients on classic sweet bread. Along with red beans and rice, mixed with fresh chopped white onion, because necessary!Without going into dramatic detail about each individual item: It all was damn-near perfect.The papa rellena was spot on, both of our sandwiches were exceptional, the beans & rice are ultimate cozy comfort food.The empanada was a little bland, but that could have been that everything else was an absolute punch of flavor. Plus, it was nice to have something to slather in hot sauce!We're definitely going back, the next time we find ourselves in the Altamonte area. I'm secretly looking for excuses, to hopefully make it sooner than later!
