We have came in 3 times and food was okay. We came in today on 7/22/23 and there were like only 2 people in there and we ordered are food and it took or 45 min to get our food . I got a burger that had onion on it and at first look at it there was paper stuck in it. And I ask my server and she send over what I thought was management note to self the person she sent to talk to me was the owner. And I also told him the meat was Burnet and dry. He wanted to Argue with me .then came back to my tablet and wanted to say ya the meat was burnt and tried to give me a different one. But i was over talking to him. The way he talk to me was so rude and was trying to argue with me. And I told him I didn't want it because of the way he was talking. If your the owner you should now how to talk to customer who give you business to you restaurant. Never going back.

Friendly staff, great drink selection, and Oxford Style Potato Skins!Yes, their twist on potato skins loaded with braised short ribs os enough of a reason to keep coming back!Looking forward to my next trip to eat my way through the rest of the menu.

Absolutely terrible! Dont waste your time or money. Took 45 minutes after ordering to receive our food. And by the way we only ordered chicken tenders, wings, and a burger. Wings were mediocre at best. Chicken tenders were burnt to a crisp and terrible, and they brought the completely wrong burger. To top it off the place was completely empty. Must have been maybe 2 other tables besides us. Still ended up paying over $40 with tip (because the waiter did his best and it wasnt his fault) for 6 wings, 3 sodas and a side of chips. Way too many other options in the area to ever go back. Skip this place for sure. If your in the mall and hungry, just go to the food court. And if your looking for a “fine eatery” as they falsely advertise, run in the other direction.

This place was pretty cool!? Like a private club for rich people lol. Even though there is a separate regular dining section. Only went there for shopping convenience but was pleasantly surprised. I would give the food 4 stars specifically, but the ambiance made me keep it at a 5 total. It was PERFECT place for my tired pregnant self and non social friend to have lunch. It's like you are sitting in your family room.Super comfy couch to hang and eat at. Server was attentive (but there weren't many people in the place). Super annoying drunk girls singing at the bar though...wish management intervened with that one...but overall...really cool concept.

This restaurant took over Friendly Confines in the Altamonte Mall.I really don't think they're going to make it.The air conditioner still has not been repaired and this was an ongoing issue at Friendly Confines. They literally had stand-up A/C s in the dining room. They were not really cooling.The back half of the restaurant is still like Friendly Confines. In the front, they threw some conversation pit couches and chairs. The bar area is still like Friendly Confines.The server was efficient but she later told us she was leaving and how others are not showing up. She pointed out the manager sitting down chit-chatting in the front of the restaurant. He actually walked by our table and didn't ask us how our food was.Now for the food- mediocre.The chili was not very meaty and definitely had some kick. The consensus on the chili was "ok".My son ordered the tacos and did not like them. The server told him to go ahead and take the chips off the plate and she would take the tacos back. He ordered the burger to replace it. I did not try the tacos and I think I may have liked them but they had so many flavors on them, I could see it being a turn-off for many. All come With Cabbage Slaw, Avocado, Chimichurri, Lime Crema, Cotija, Watermelon Radish and Cilantro. The waitress did tell us to stay away from the chicken tinga because that does not ever get a positive review.The flatbread that I had was the Le Steak blue flatbread. The server let me know after I got it that they spread an onion balsamic type jam on it, then later the meat and cheese. It could definitely have used more blue cheese. The steak was overcooked. It also had a sweet almost honey flavor to it. I gave it a 2.5 out of 5.The newly prepared Burger and fries came out and they were good.The sloppy Joseph was a sloppy joe made with short rib. This was given a it was "ok".While there, a table of six left before ordering. The server told us it was because they couldn't find anything they wanted to eat.This is one of those restaurants that I will never go back to. I will usually give a restaurant the benefit of the doubt but this will be a no-go. The menu is just so so, the atmosphere is blah and the energy is just negative.Good luck to this one!

Love this spot and been coming here since 2019 when it was friendly confine but now they switch it up I love the whole energy they have brought in! However the server needs to step it up I shouldn’t ask the bartender or manager of the place for a beer and food ? that’s the only thing that needs to switch up. customers like me love environments like this but I shouldn’t wait 15-20 mins for someone to serve me I hope this changes later but still great place

No longer Friendly Confines. Now “The Oxford”! Stopped in Monday evening after work for dinner and immediately fell in love with the new environment. The feeling the restaurant gave off felt great. The manager at the time Mason was able to answer a couple questions I had about the change of scenery and future plans. Food was outstanding, Shrimp Tacos were on point. Definitely will be returning soon.

I took some friends here for super bowl XVII to watch the game. It was awesome. Four of us averaged out to $30 a piece. I paid the bill. It was a lot of fun. We had a blast. We drank a lot of beer and we ate a lot of food so it's really reasonably priced. Very nice place

I have driven by this place so many times and always make a mental note to visit this place. I was disappointed in the quality of drinks and food. We ordered mozzarella sticks but they tasted very bland. I ordered wings & fries but never received my fries. I had ordered two separate wing flavors but instead the flavors were combined. The margarita that I ordered was definitely just margarita mix & water and incredibly sweet. Not enjoyable at all. The restaurant was empty when we went & I am not surprised. Was not impressed by this establishment and will not return. We would of had better food inside the food court.

This is no longer Friendly Confines as of January 2023. It is now The Oxford Sports Bar and Secret Society and presents itself as an upscale eatery.The servers working were great and very kind. However the food was not great and expensive for what was offered. Far better options around the mall area to check out if you’re looking for something to eat.

Diverse croud with an attentive staff who isn't afraid to try making a new drink recipe. It was also nice that they're cool letting people hang out well after the listed 2AM closing time, the jukebox was still playing last when I'd left at 2:50AM.
