This place is not good anymore. Every time I go during normal business hours, they are closed. When they are open, the service is horrible and the sushi is just ok. I will never go back to this place again.

Used to love this place. Went twice during normal hours and it was closed.

Local Guide

Sushi is more than just food it's an experience, a delicate balance of artistry, tradition, and flavor. Whether you're a seasoned sushi enthusiast or a curious newcomer, there's something undeniably captivating about this Japanese culinary staple. And Hana Sushi should get your attention.

I stopped by Hana Sushi during one of their specials which unfortunately has slipped my mind pertaining to what time it actually randomly walked in off the street.

I was greeted with kindness and wonderful service.

The sushi šŸ£ was delicious and just as quickly as I entered my plate was served and then it was suddenly my plate was empty....I wanted more but I know I shouldn't. Another Godzilla roll please and thank you 😁

This place has gone down since I last been there. They close early, even on the weekends at 10 (so no late-night date nights). Also, they did not have/did not provide the menus to write down your orders. The waitress made an excellent recommendation for food but the presentation left a lot to be desired. The spicy edamame was not fully steamed. Parking is dicey at best. Unsure if I'll be back.

Waitress was very rude. They need to learn how to treat customers šŸ™„

My family and I have been coming here for many many years however recently there seems to be new owner because the quality of food and service has gone way down! We used to come just for the amazing volcano roll however it’s terrible now! Nowhere near what it used to be! The server has an AirPod in her ear the whole time she’s working. She’s playing on her phone and she forgot to put the kids meal in so the adults got food and my 2 year old was all over because she didn’t get anything to eat and she was eating off of everybody else’s food.

Honestly awful. Went in at lunch when there were no people in here. It took 5 mins to sit. Then the waitress took another 5-10 mins just to get water. When she finally got to the table she didn't even say anything to us and didn't even attempt to ask if we wanted anything. She just dropped the waters and went to clean a table and walked to the back. I was a server for 10 years. YOU DONT PRIORITIZE CLEANING THE ONLY DIRTY TABLE IN THE RESTAURANT BEFORE TAKING CARE OF YOUR ACTIVE DINERS. I ended up walking out cause i knew where this was going so i didnt even try the food. The mall was a much better choice to eat at. Please avoid this place like the plague.

Headed in here after our movie for a quick bite since it was open late.

Immediately the server lady pointed at the corner booth with a side eye. Ok. We got waters, tasted like it was straight out of the swamp. I asked what else they had to drink and she dramatically grabs the menu and hands it to me. Ok.

I got the chicken and steak hibatchi. Salad was fine, soup was fine. My meal was loaded with pepper and no other seasoning. Steak was cheap and flavorless. Didn't even ask me how I wanted it cooked. Chicken was tough and bland vegetables were cold and gross. I waited s while for her to come back to ask for white sauce and she brought the tiniest little cup. Sushi arrived after the entrees and I was so put off I couldn't stomach it.

Asked for a box and tried to ask for white sauce to go and was promptly ignored as she turned swiftly to walk away.

Took forever to get our check even after I tried to get her attention she was hanging with the other employees on her phone.

Need to learn how to treat customers and flavor food. Will not return.

Good food, but a forgettable atmosphere. Here's why. We had a large ginger salad and two rolls. We come back for the food only and disregard everything else. This time, we had the Dragon Fly roll, which included tuna, yellow tail, and masago with snapper and baked spicy mayo. Cheesy looking with a lot of flavor. The other roll was the Playda Linda, which included tuna, salmon, and yellow tail topped with spicy ponzu sauce and lime yuzo tobiko. The sauce added a nice flavor dimension.
The 3 stars are because of the food. Otherwise, I would rate lower. The service is straightforward. We feel comfortable asking for recommendations based on what we feel. So far, we have not been disappointed.
They are not looking to impress. Don’t expect to be seated by being led to your table. The service is not horrible, just not trying to be impressive. The space is a place where you eat and then leave. You are not lounging. The area decorations are nice, but don't be surprised if you see employee sweaters in the back booth. We will be back for the food and will recommend the place, but we will warn them to enjoy the food, not the service.

It was bad all around. Hibachi was dry, my noodles were mushy and sitting in oil. Soup, salad, meal all came out at the same time....no refills, no follow ups, had to ask for bill, 3 parties left before ordering because service was slow but there were only 2 table inside. Some man came in, worked there maybe? But cleared a table and started eating the table's left over sushi, we thought he worked there because he asked if we wanted a box but it was just awkward and a bad experience....

Excellent, had great lunch. Ordered the Chicken Tempura Bento Box, very tasty. The Tempura batter was just the right amount, very crispy and light. Very good value for the amount of food in the Bento Box. It took a little longer but worth the wait.

Only 3 people in the restaurant and one roll took over 40 min to come out, and had fish scales and was really bad. Avoid like the plague.

My husband and I went here for what we hoped to be a quick dinner over the weekend. When we visited at 6pm on a Saturday night and saw the restaurant completely empty, we were confident we’d be out within the time constraints we had.

Unfortunately, we arrived at this restaurant at 6pm and didn’t receive our sushi… raw, uncooked sushi and sashimi until 6:45pm. We were the only guests there. It was extremely frustrating.

I can see the potential this restaurant has, but it’s just not well maintained. The women’s restroom was on the verge of being disgusting and the sink was leaking and unable to turn off. The cleanliness of the bathroom wasn’t up to par with what you’d hope to see in any place serving food.

Also, the one and only server was dressed in sweats and not wearing any sort of uniform. Upon first impression, I didn’t know she worked there.

I will say that I was hesitant to eat my sushi when it finally did arrive, after seeing the bathroom condition.

However, our sushi and sashimi ended up being delicious. It tasted fresh and was made with care.

My husband did say the salad with ginger dressing had a very odd taste so he didn’t eat it.

I’d say if you want good sushi from this location - order it for takeout and don’t expect quick service.

Service was just okay. Seemed like they were short handed. Tables were dirty. Sweet potato roll and tofu steak were okay. Raspberry iced tea and the lemonade had a weird taste. Ordered chicken fried rice and couldn't finish it-it had an odd smell and the dish looked bland, rice was a little crunchy. Was visiting from out of state. Would not return.
