The food was very good. I made slight changes to my order, and Ani from the restaurant was very accommodating. The only difference I noticed is that plain fried rice was just yellow rice. I expected veggies, eggs, etc. It's a little different. Overall, it was good. (Orange chicken and wings meal).

Food is always good, and you get a lot for the cost.

Food tastes awful and is way overpriced.
Half of it tastes actively repulsive, especially the Szechuan chicken. Just go to Publix and eat a frozen meal at this point.

Ordered 3 dishes and was very disappointed by each one. I seriously ended up throwing it all out aside from sesame chicken which is somewhat edible. Kung pao chicken is downright disgusting. Fried rice is a joke. Just go to China Master in winter park. It's the only good Chinese food around here for some reason.

If you're on the hunt for authentic Chinese cuisine with a cozy atmosphere, New Hong Kong is worth a visit. This restaurant delivers a delightful dining experience, combining traditional flavors with modern presentation.

Food: The menu offers a broad range of options, from classic dim sum to flavorful stir-fries. Standouts include the crispy Peking duck and the perfectly spiced Kung Pao chicken. The dim sum selection is particularly impressive, with freshly made dumplings and buns that are both delicate and satisfying.

Service: The staff at New Hong Kong are attentive and knowledgeable. They are quick to offer recommendations and ensure that every aspect of the meal is to your satisfaction. The service is friendly, making the dining experience pleasant from start to finish.

Ambiance: The restaurant has a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, featuring traditional Chinese decor that enhances the dining experience without overwhelming it. It’s a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions.

Value: The prices are reasonable given the quality of the food and the portion sizes. Whether you're coming for a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner, New Hong Kong offers good value for money.

Overall, New Hong Kong stands out as a reliable choice for delicious Chinese food and attentive service. It's a gem for both local diners and those looking to explore authentic Chinese flavors.

The food had no taste and the chicken fry rice was literally soggy yellow rice with chicken pieces . I was skeptical when I saw no refunds on food sign tape to the glass .

Check your receipt before leaving! So many damn upcharges without telling me on my order just now ! Nothing on their Menu about upcharges, nothing told to me verbally...would NOT refund me! It's not the money it's the Principal. PRICES ALSO WENT UP AS OF 7/23. Please read your receipt. Will NEVER go back there. Woman owner looked at ME like I was crazy, said NO your screwing us Americans! ?? ??

Then we as Americans wonder why we have to work 3 damn jobs while immigrants own their own business.

PANDA EXPRESS IS NOT ONLY CHEAPER BUT QUALITY OF FOOD IS BETTER THAN NEW HONG KONG in Altamonte springs.

NOT a dine-in restaurant. A take-out only, with a few tables, Listed as a dine-in...it is not. Unless you want to eat out of a styrofoam container, look elsewhere.

Favorite local Chinese spot

Great eggroll, just needs pork flavoring.
Only one other Chinese restaurant I've been to in Central Florida has a good eggroll. The rest have been inedible.
