My husband, Shurland, left a review yesterday detailing this poor experience eating at the ALTAMONTE location. He reviewed this restaurant and decided that the service was terrible. The review he left yesterday was clear and concise about the fact that this waitress never came to his table to check or see if he needed anything while there were three other families eating not far from him. So this store owner decides to respond to his review yesterday by trying to LIE to say that he went to the wrong store. I really don't appreciate that!! I think you're just trying to cover the fact that your store service sucks. My hubby lived exactly 3 blocks away, in Breckenridge Village years ago right next to the church. Yesterday, while he went to find food, myself and kids were 2 blocks away at Pottery and Paint on 434 Enjoying a birthday party so I think he knows VERY WELL what store he went to.Again, The woman with short white hair and glasses in her 50s with the accent, that took his order and then never checked on him is terrible and you could do better. And when you get a review, you need to stop lying and just accept the fact that you can do better in your store..

Here's my experience at Papa Joe's today.I ordered my food and after a 2 minute conversation with my wife on the phone in front of the host, she heard me say that was going to eat in because I couldn't eat where I was going.She took my order and after finding out that there was no juice whatsoever in this store except kids apple juice, i ordered unsweet tea. Just a note for you guys people with an ulcer don't drink soda ordinarily , so there be some other substitute. I decided to order Tea which I had to add lots of sugar to make sweet.I sat at a table awaiting my food until I heard somebody hissing at me like I was a dog or something. I took the clue that maybe my food might be ready. And I walked to the counter and asked if my order was ready. The guy said yes and I reminded him that I was dining in. I took my food and sat down and ate and watched three other families enjoying their meals while I sat at a table by myself. The hostess came out at least 3 times and went to each table, making sure that everyone had what they needed. Except she never visited my table once. I ate my pizza and left everything on the table. Unlike my customary way of cleaning up behind myself.I hope you guys got the point

I ordered the lunch special- two slices of pepperoni, salad, and drink. It was very good. There was a lot of oil coming off the pizza, a sure indicator that they use fresh pepperoni. The sauce and cheese were top notch and the dough was baked to perfection.My wife ordered the chicken piccata on a bed of spaghetti. It was amazing! I was really impressed with the flavor of their sauce. It also came with garlic bread, the butter on the bread tasted like it was not fresh. Not bad, but slightly off. She didn't notice because she was dipping it into the piccata sauce.We shared a cannoli and slice of chocolate cake. They were both excellent.There was only one person serving and she was doing a good job keeping up, but as additional customers came in she could have used more help. We never had to wait for her, she is very good at her job.Even with two desserts, we spent a lot less for lunch than we would have for breakfast at any of the nearby restaurants.

Omg!!! I stopped by as it’s close to my house. I figured why not give it a try? To surprise the Tiramisu is the best I’ve had in years and the Lasagna was delicious.
This the best pizza in the state. Family owned for years. Fairly priced and worth every penny.

Ah, Papa Joe! You've won my heart with your amazing food, atmosphere, sarcastic (humorously!) cooks, and attentive servers (shout out to Renee and Mike). Not a single bad meal in the dozen and a half times I've visited in the last 3 months. From the chicken parm sub and gnocchi to the calzones, pizza slices, garlic knots, and fettuccini Alfredos it is all pure heaven. One day, I wish upon a wish I'll get to meet the legendary you I've heard so much about and thank you for an amazing establishment. But for now, I'll be content feasting on everything on the menu. Until we meet... mangiare felice!
