Amy, the manager in Altamonte, delivered the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. While the food was tasty, what really stood out was the atmosphere — easily the best of the three Pei Weis I’ve visited in Central Florida. Although this location is a bit of a drive for us, we definitely plan on coming back.

So good! I’ve started coming to this location a couple times a week now because the new manager Amy has really made this a great local foodie spot. The food quality is great, and the service is great as well. I get something different every time and it’s always awesome. Consistent cooks and friendly staff are huge! Very clean store, makes you want to keep coming back. Way to go Amy and Pei Wei!

My family and I were at Pei Wei on 12/12/25. Amy, the manager, was so incredibly hospitable to us. She showed us a trick to create kid friendly chop sticks, and checked in on us several times to make sure we didn't need anything. Thank you to Amy and the crew there tonight for a terrific dining experience!

Oh my gosh, I just discovered Pei Wei and I’m so excited! The food is absolutely incredible, and the staff is super friendly and efficient. They cook everything to order, which I love, and they always get my order out quickly. It’s the first time I’ve noticed such great customer service in an Asian food shop. From the kitchen to the food, everything is amazing. I’ve definitely become a regular customer!

I always get the bourbon chicken here, but after whatever it was they served me last time I will never be eating bourbon chicken here or maybe anywhere again. It was the wrong color like lighter than it usually is, the chicken was cut into smaller pieces and was soft and mushy. I tried to power through but the texture was truly unsettling. What did I eat ?
Day ruined, disappointment immeasurable.

This review is just for the bourbon chicken platter only...
Very small cubes, taste was sus like lab grown chicken 🐔 😩 no texture, soft, spongy, some felt like pork fat cubes, very light in color.
I won't be ordering this platter here again...

Pei Wei Chinese food has become our go-to spot for quick, delicious meals. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and satisfying — you can always count on them to get it right. Whether it’s the orange chicken, lo mein, or spicy tofu, everything tastes like it was made with care.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, even during busy times. They handle special requests well and really make the experience pleasant.

That said, be aware that MSG is added to some dishes, and the food can be on the greasy side, especially fried items. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to those ingredients.

Still, Pei Wei remains a reliable and dependable option for flavorful Chinese takeout with great service. Just know what to expect and enjoy in moderation!
