I have tried their location in Ocoee and liked it, so diced to try it out with a friend for dinner. So glad we did!We were greeted and seated right away by a nice hostess and our server was nice, friendly, attentive, answered our questions and made great suggestions. We both ordered their house margarita on the rocks and their new SJ Volcano al Pastor and it was delicious! Definitely fulfilled my craving for good al pastor seasoning!Glad I tried this one close to home and will be one of my go to's for tex mex!

This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the Orlando area. I have been a customer for years, and all their Orlando locations are great, the service, drinks and food are excellent. The prices are also very affordable. I highly recommend this place.

I was hired as a line cook, and they had me washing dishes scrubbing refrigerator doors and garbage cans..... i mopped floors that looked like they where not mopped in weeks in the kitchen confirmed by the kitchen supervisor that the floor had not been mopped DISGUSTING During my Orientation i was informed that they stand proud in regards to Team work and that was not the case there is no Team work more as a racisms' if you ask me because i am Puerto Rican and all i mean all employees are Mexican.i have managed a restaurant before with years of experience anyone in the food industry would know that all i mean all containers that store food is needed to be ran through the the dish washer for sanitation purposes but they do not its scrubbed with minimal dish washing soap to make sure they save money !! Cross contamination is huge at this restaurant if you only new what was going on in the kitchen you would think twice of eating there food.

We ate outside for lunch we were the only people out there for quite a while until someone else came yes it is very hot outside still but they're little outside covered area was very comfortable. Food was great service was really good. And they are willing to adjust pretty much anything on the menu

Great local Mexican restaurant. I’ve come here a few times and tried different dishes and they have all been very good. Last night I came to see a football game and had some Al Pastor tacos, very impressed w/ the flavor as not all places make them good. This one’s past the test, I also had a beer which was very very cold. The service at the bar by Leslie and Camila were great, very attentive making sure the game was the right one and that I was good on food and drinks the whole time. Would be coming back for more tacos while enjoying football and soccer games.

A breath of fresh air after a disappointing dining experience elsewhere. My family came in and we were immediately seated. We had chips and drinks on our table almost instantly. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. The large beer was huge, and decently priced. All of the food was delicious and portions were generous. I will definitely be coming back.

Stupid fire. Good food, good drinks. Good prices. Authentic, gives cinco de mayo vibes. Platter is crazy

Food was good as always. The service was terrible. Had to walk around to find our server to get to go boxes and our check. Disappeared again for a while. Came back with our check and to go box then disappeared again. Had to walk around to find the server again to pay. In the end he added his own tip which was was more than generous. Will not be going back anytime soon.

Delicious Mexican food! The staff is always so nice and helpful. They have many specials throughout the week which is a bonus. The only thing is that it get loud with the TV, music and rowdy customers. But highly recommend if the noise bother you too try to get the outdoor seating but not during the summer heat.

I tried San Jose's Original Mexican Restaurant today, this is the one at 280 S. State Rd 434 in Altamonte Springs. There are several other locations in Central Florida. Service was good, our server was quick and attentive and kept busy throughout the meal, and the manager was visible and helpful during service. One of my favorite things here were the Micheladas, great flavor and went down very quickly! A great drink on a hot summer day. I had one of the lunch combos, and got 2 beef enchiladas and a chicken taco. The plate also came with Mexican rice. This was completely pedestrian, nothing was seasoned well, just pretty blah. My dining companion had the opposite experience, choosing the SJ Volcano, which was Al pastor style pork with pineapple, queso cheese, onions, and cilantro. This was served with corn tortillas on the side. This was definitely delicious, and enough for two! I would return just for this item. Ok, maybe for the Micheladas too! My daughter had a chicken quesadilla that she enjoyed, and we shared a piece of Tres Leches cake that was a sweet way to end the meal.
