Steak 'n Shake

Cold burgers, but they remade them so that was nice. Except there was a lot of cold butter caked on each burgers' bun.

I got to steak n shake expecting to wait a bit for food, but it came out so fast. I loved the customer service of repeating my order back, giving me my total and soon as I get to the window somebody was there to greet me and take my credit card. Soon as the receipt was handed back to me food was done along with my shake! The best part is I open the bag and see my burger looks just like you would see in a commercial and then the food hot and tasty! This is my own review I felt like leaving because I was impressed.

Decided to go for steak n shake just now. Ordered a #3 Frisco melt meal which is $9.79 plus tax which comes out to be $10.48. I hand the person at the window (lightskin female, cut up eyebrows, lil twists or lil puffs in her head)$20.50 she gives me my drink then proceeds to close the window so I waved my hand to get her attention to let her know she forgot to give me my change she tells me It was only 2 cents I get. I said no I gave you $20.50 she said so you get 2cents I said no I get $10.02. So one of her coworkers came to help her out but she still end up only giving me $9 so I had to get her attention again to let her know it suppose to be $10.02(not really worrying about the 2 cents) so I had to show her on the calculator and she looking at me like I did something to her... she shouldn't be working the register if she doesn't know how to count. Please count your change before pulling off.

Horrible customer service, rude African American older lady, working at the window!!! Out of lettuce at 12:04am on a Wednesday, asked to put mayo on my burger while ordering at the window, and they said they could give me a package of mayo?!? Very unprofessional.

If dine in is open until 10pm then the dining room should be open. Having a family of six sit at a booth at 8pm to close half the restaurant is not reasonable. I'll choose somewhere else next time.

i just got my uber order from here and let me tell yall. i got the garlic steak burger and it’s heavenly. they made it so good. i would only have to assume the lord and savior was in that kitchen tonight.
