Stonington's Fried Shrimp

Came here for the first time recently and wish we’d come sooner. Had the 5pc shrimp lunch special with red beans and rice and cornbread and my mom had the chicken strip lunch special with fries and coleslaw. Everything was super delicious. Loved the cocktail sauce that came with the shrimp and the cornbread was out of this world. The lady running things was very nice and knew we’d be back and she was right! Can’t wait to go back to try more. Great food for good prices. Yum! :)

Never got a chance to try the food at this location Because 45 minutes to 1 hour before closing there's never anything left. I was told twice within a week visiting that they had no Side dishes I'm better off going to the other location. The employees here don't seem to do their job here

Some of the best fried shrimp available anywhere. The cornbread is simply devine. Amanda is a real gem and super friendly, I don't think I would have felt any more welcome if I had been sitting at her dining room table in her home.

Peep game and I say this humbly, " I don't know these people from a can of paint........I've spent the last 22 years bartending in some of the most exclusive spots in New York City and had the pleasure of tasting some of the most fabulous dishes prepared by some of New Yorks elite chefs.........Since moving to Florida in late 2019 I've been very underwhelmed with both the service and quality of food in every restaurant I've visited. What's considered 5 star here in Florida is simply a mom and pop up north.With that being said let me say this..........This hole in the wall in a strip joint plaza is the absolute truth. Their food is absolutely what you would find in some of New Yorks hidden corners.Their house made onion rings are thinly sliced and melt in your mouth. The cornbread is so sweet it sticks to your teeth and makes lick up wishing it wouldn't go away.The chopped salad is enough of a side since they were thoughtfull enough to add the extra protein in regards to sunflower seeds but don't forget they give you two.The crab cakes will compete with maryland and youre not gonna get that anyway in orlando. Shrimp beautifully butterflied and seasoned, deep fried to perfection( not overcooked)THE BEST PART ABOUT IS THE MOST WELCOMING SMILE YOU SEE FROM THE CHOCOLATE SISTER AND HER GOLD FRONTS. SHE MAKES YOU FEEL SO WELCOMING SO YOU KNOW YOURE IN GOOD HANDS.REAL MF TALK!!!!!!!

Staff was very nice and the cook came our and sat down to talk about the food. That personal approach was great. Food was on point for sure.

Shrimp was lightly breaded didn't taste as good as the one on Kirkman rd and the shrimp sauce was to salty the macaroni was

I was looking forward for a wonderful lunch, but it turn out my lunch was a disaster. I ordered a shrimp lunch special receipt #8039 with a corn bread which I haven't received. After I ate my lunch I had felt like a truck ran over my stomach. I had food poisoning.

Food is good but they allow the ripoff artist doordash to raise prices of their food and ripoff customers which in turn gives stoningtons a bad name. Shame on both of them! Prices are already high don't need a greedy ripoff artist raising prices more.

This place is delicious! Off in the cut so if you don’t know about it you might miss it. Everything is fresh and yummy, my faves are the red beans and rice and the cornbread. On top of all that this place is so clean! Service is great too.

Ridiculously great food!! Went yesterday with my family and the cashier/ server was waaaay too nice, they keep the place very clean and the food is to die for!!

Food is delicious! Always fresh and flavorful. Great portions and everyone who works here is nice and inviting. Highly recommend!!!

I arrived at 1;05 for an online order that was supposed to be ready at 1:06. The young girl at the register checked the only bag on the counter and said my order wasn't ready. I watched as at least 3 other people walked in, ordered & got their food. After waiting for 20 minutes I got back in line & waited. This time when I asked about my food the girl tried giving me the bag that had been there the whole time. I told her that food was cold & she immediately got an attitude that after almost 30 minutes of sitting on the counter my food wasn't cold. I asked for a manager & told them I wanted a refund. I was told that they wouldn't do it & I had to go online. Terrible service.
