I’m sure if you eat at the restaurant it’s fine but when it comes to pickup orders they need to get it together. I understand being short staffed but your restaurant is not even busy. I’ve been in food service for 7 years previously in the past. So I’m very aware and understanding but this is absurdity. Very irritated. I ordered pick up. My food was already an hour late and on top of that they still forgot things in the order. Then I tried to call and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I honestly called numerous times which I don’t like to do but then I was over it and had to drive over to the restaurant (not a short drive) because they couldn’t just pick up the phone. There was an employee trying to be helpful and apologetic but the management absolutely needs work. They need to get it together. Just saying from an ex food service management background. I’m a very patient person to begin with. I let it go with the order being an hour late but come on at least answer your phone. 😳

I ordered the family combo through their site with a pickup order. They had it done within the specified time on a weekend. Bravo to that. When I went inside the atmosphere was pretty nice. I like fun places. Also the lady at the front (I forgot her name.. but she bad black hair) was super chill. The food itself was pretty decent. I liked the corn. Pretty amazing corn, crab was good too. Same taste as most chains but I liked their seasoning here. Though, the shrimp tasted like rubber.
Later that evening I actually got a pretty nasty stomach bug though from the food. Was it worth it? Eh. I eat seafood boils from different places every 2 weeks or so. Never had a bug like this.
Overall, decent food at a good value.. just be careful about what you eat.
2.5 to 3 stars

The server Marlon was amazing from the greeting at the door to being our server! 10/10 recommend. Will be visiting again when they open the Karaoke Night

We had dinner here tonight and wanted to share our experience! The food was amazing. My husband and I both ordered the snow crab, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The seasoning was spot on, everything tasted fresh, and it was exactly what you hope for when you go out for a seafood boil.
The service did lack a bit. We’re not sure if they were short staffed, but it took quite a while for a waiter to come by and check on us. Once we were helped, things were fine — it just wasn’t very attentive throughout the meal.
Overall cleanliness was alright. The booths were clean and comfortable, but the restaurant itself looks a little run down, and the bathrooms could definitely use some attention.
Even with a few drawbacks, the food really was the highlight and would be the reason we’d consider coming back.

TERRIBLE experience here at the dancing crab. Our server Marlin was EXTREMELY RUDE. In the middle of our drink order he just got frustrated and walked away. Proceeded to greet and get drinks for multiple tables. 10-15 mins later we finally got his attention and I felt like I had to rush and order everything because I didn’t want him to walk off again.
We had to go up to the front host and ask for silverware and he rushed us off again saying he would get it. We waited and waited and had to ask the manager for silverware and even he seemed overwhelmed.
The whole restaurant was dirty and just unorganized. They were completely understaffed. It looked like the host was taking tables and there was Marlon our terrible server who just was not in a good mood. I am a bartender and server myself and no matter how in the weeds I become I never let it turn me into a nasty and rude person.
We were not the only table Marlon was treating like this all of his tables that I could see were very frustrated.

Drinks, are something you may or may not get. The crab fries is canned crab on Costco fries. The clam chowder is... Undescribable, cold, oily, something. The crab and sausage was the only thing that was good. Won't be coming back

Customer service sucks! 1st time TRYING to eat at this place. Walked in and the gentleman said I'll be with you in moment. Zero ppl ahead of us waiting to be seated and the establishment was more than half empty. Ok, me and my 2 ppl in my party ( 3 of us total) wait as this same man went back and forth to the kitchen, a table or 2 and back to the register 2 times. Ok fine still waiting and looking at the to go menu. Another lady walked by smiled and said the same, I'll be with you in a minute. Finally the man comes back to the register/ front and asks what we wanted to order to go? I said to go, we can't eat here? I guess he assumed we wanted to go since we were looking at the to go menu while waiting. He finally seated us. From asking about if there were any drink specials, (since it said it online) to giving him our order. He was VERY RUDE! And being short. We ordered water and before I could say 1 with lemon he cut me off and walked off. But of course he came back with 3 with lemon, even though we didnt ask for lemon, and he didnt ask either. Asked for 1 more water with no lemon. Smurkishly responded ok and walked off. He walked past our table 2 or 3 more times, still no water. Asked for the water again, and he rudely said ok. After that we got up to leave, the waiter was at the register, and on my way out I said we good, you can cancel that order and left. And no, Marlon as he said that was his name, was not having a bad night. We clearly heard him talking to the table behind us with no attitude or rudeness. And why was there some big rusty piece hanging over the table.

I’m rating the place based on the portion of food I received and the manager on duty yesterday (06/25/2020). First off I would like to state that the place wasn’t crowded at all. There were four other families present at the time I was there. It took about 45 minutes to receive the food and on top of that I had ordered a half pound of headless shrimp, a half pound of green mussels and my mom had also ordered a pound of crawfish which was mixed in with my food. When I received my food I noticed I only had 4 mussels which does not amount to half a pound. Everyone else at the table who also ordered mussels had 8 pieces. When the waiter came over to the table to ask how the food was I mentioned I had only received 4 mussels and he said he didn’t think that was right and he would be right back. Well he never came back but a female manager came over and asked if everything was okay. I explained to her that I did not believe 4 mussels were half a pound. I have actually had the same dish before at The Crafty Crab so I already knew that 4 did not amount to half a pound. She told me “well I believe everything is weighed before it is cooked”. My mom then mentions that she had 8 to 9 pieces and she tell me to give her a few minutes and she never came back to the table. She obviously needs training on how to manage a place. I have been a manager several times and I was just disappointed on the service I received. I can see if the place was busy and she was just being pulled in all directions but she did not even apologize or offer to have them fix the issue. I will not be going back there again and neither will anyone that was with me. I rather give my money to The Crafty Crab.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went here for my birthday which is today. Elsa was a horrible waitress, very impatient, loud & obnoxious. You say something to her and she’s basically yelling at you so the whole restaurant is looking and hearing what you’re complaining about. My crabs came out with so many barnacles on it, I was biting into barnacles while trying to eat my potatoes so I returned it and asked for wings. She did not once apologize and tried being funny when we went to pay. I ate two spoons of rice and she charged me for it. This was my usual spot but I will not be back.

The food is positively outstanding. I have had seafood boils in the past, this was far superior! My sister and I had the crab and shrimp boil with garlic butter and finished the whole bag. The only thing missing was sausages which is fine because I'm not crazy for pork. They could have thrown another potato in there, but otherwise it was perfect. I am nearly fifty years on this earth and have never had corn so delicious before.
The theme is obviously under the sea with a splash of American staples like licensed plates decor and life-sized Blues brothers in front of a stage. They've also thrown in a claw machine for fun.
The biggest issue I had is that there was a smelly mop bucket in the corner on the way to the bathroom. But I cannot stress enough that the food was amazing and I will return even with the mop bucket!

Cool atmosphere with a car and garage theme. Shrimp and crayfish boil with corn and potatoes was okay, but missed the garlic in the garlic butter seasoning. Service was friendly and quick. Price was about average for the a seafood boil.
