First time visiting for dinner. The meal my wife and I had was very good and the portion size was generous, in addition, their menu is quite extensive for a small restaurant. I don't think you'd be disappointed eating here.
I had the best server Cherylynn. She was extremely attentive. I ordered the steak, Mac and cheese and onion rings….comfort food. It was scrumptious. Did not need steak sauce for my pink steak cooked to perfection. Also ordered wine…Cherylynn knows how to take care of her guests. I’m coming back to try their specialty.. the French Toast. Nice quaint little spot. They do take out as well.
We were driving in the vicinity of Alva looking for a place to have lunch and took a chance. The building is a little tired, but the food and service made this restaurant a good choice for us. We both had very filling breakfasts for lunch. Good value too.
