We had an outstanding experience tonight at George’s! Our server, Tyler, was attentive and knowledgeable, making us feel so welcomed throughout our meal. Everything we ordered was a hit. The Orchard Salad was delicious. For entrees I ordered the scallops while my husband ordered the ribeye. Both were thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, a delightful dining experience that exceeded our expectations!

Except for being bitten by black flies towards the end of the meal, good food.

My wife and I recently had lunch at George's at Alys Beach, a place we've visited many times over the years with various group sizes. The food is always solid—fresh, delicious, and they’re very sensitive to my gluten-free needs due to celiac disease. It’s reassuring to know I can dine there without worry.
The patio is dog-friendly and provides a pleasant setting for a meal. However, there’s a recurring issue with flies when dining outside. The restaurant has provided clever fans with floppy blades to try and manage it, but the flies are still a nuisance. I wonder if low-speed fans or a steady breeze could help more effectively.
Overall, George’s remains a reliable spot for a great meal, and we’ll definitely be back, hopefully next time to try the cocktails!

Fantastic experience, service and food. It gets really busy so we had to go right at 5pm but totally worth it!
Waited more than 45 minutes and it was NOT worth it. Mediocre food, Nothing special, small portions, pasta so greasy, steak friends (4) were like microwave fries, shrimp were baby shrimp and taste overcooked. A table for 8 people we all walked away very unsatisfied.

Each time my family travels here, we make it a point to come back. Food is incredible. They do have a small window that they're closed between lunch and dinner. One other thing to note is that this place is a HOT commodity. If you go, expect for a little wait time. The only thing I wish they'd add is faster fans outside. Overall, I love this place, and it's a delight going here every time!

Fettuccine Alfredo pasta was yummy, but chicken was dry. Keylime pie dessert was yummy but chantilly cake was mid. Server trying to serve a table with 11 people. Server was amazing but a bit understaffed. Drinks at the side bar were weak.
Crab cake flavoring was off. Gnocchi were yummy tho.

We had bailey as our server and we did not have a good experience at all. I get having a bad day, however, she was just completely rude to us throughout the whole dinner. Someone did not hear the special and she snapped and said “I already went over that”, my jaw dropped at the way she spoke to us every time. We were given one less roll of silverware and when I asked for an extra one she rolled her eyes and gave a disgusted look. A bunch of us were splitting meals and when we asked if we could get some extra plates we got another disgusted face and a sassy remark along the lines of “they aren’t even going to fit on the table but okay”, the plates fit perfectly fine, that comment and all her comments were so unnecessary! All steaks were overcooked, like ordered medium and got well done with absolutely no pink. Bailey made us all feel very uncomfortable to ask for anything. The only reason we had a good time was because it was my sister’s last dinner on her bachelorette trip and one mean, rude and unkind person wasn’t going to ruin that. I really really hope it was just a bad day for her and she doesn’t treat all guests like this cause that was awful.

Lovely lunch on the side porch.....George's is wonderful. Food fabulously fresh and delicious. Avocado crab salad with Thai peanut dressing and the lobster quesadilla were hard to resist. The table next to us got the chicken sandwich accompanied by a pile of French fries and to add insult to injury, fresh potato chip garnish....it was a food frenzy. We did resist the chocolate mousse brownie which gets rave reviews. We shall be back. And the service was excellent. Don't miss it.

Every thing we had was fantastic! The whipped feta appetizer was savory and light. The Spicy Salt and Pepper Shrimp with Thai sauce was fantastic! The Blacked Grouper and Grits wasn’t fishy and cooked perfectly. The Jerk Crusted Gulf Snapper was a surprise of flavors! Everything was amazing!
