At the beach for a wedding and George’s was close by for dinner. We sat outside because we had a 1 year old with us and the temperature was comfortable. The food was very good from the calamari which was large piece of squid vs the small whole pieces, to the chef special which was Halibut with a potato mix in a crust shell. My wife and I split the specials and it was plenty of food. Son in law got the steak, it was a little expensive but did taste good. The wait staff was very professional and offer the right amount of assistance, not too much but there when you needed them. I was surprised by how well I liked the meal. I would definitely go back again.

Jerome and the chef made our day today! It was so amazing to have such an awesome lunch experience at George’s today! Since we excavated from Cuba last month we have tried many places from Seaside to Panama City this trip and not one place could even come close to the delicious food and amazing service we received today. Jerome was so awesome even our children noticed his spectacular service. We will definitely be back. I took pictures of all our delicious plates to share, except my son’s chicken fingers as he consumed them before I had a chance.

Had an amazing time at George’s! The food was so good, I loved the jerk fish and the crab appetizer is a must-try. Big thanks to Kinsey, who took such great care of our group of 17 people, even at the end of her shift.
She stayed friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. Excellent service, and great food!
Definitely coming back!

It is a nice place to sit outside for lunch, with umbrellas and little fans in table to avoid flies.
We ordered angus burgers with potatoes, and they were delicious.
The waitresses were courteous and offers fast service.
The prices are a little high compared to other restaurants. I believe is related to the area where it is located, but that is just my impression.

Sitting outside definitely seems like the better move if there’s space / nice weather. Highlights were the whipped feta, shrimp plate, and their famous Goo for dessert. Our server was friendly and attentive; on top of it being a busy night.
*entire party must be present to be seated

Adorable place with great food. Service was top notch. We ate here twice during the week and both times we were seated on a side porch. The porch itself is quaint, but it does get very loud when seated next to large parties. I would recommend eating outside.

I really LOVE George’s. I grew up in the food industry and it’s a tough one. George’s has my seal of approval and their food is excellent in taste 👅 and Presentation and it comes out quick.

We have had it on our list to eat at George's on one of our visits. We have avoided it because they don't take reservations. We arrived on a Saturday around 7 and fully expected a wait. We were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately. The misters on the patio were intense. We had a nice wine and the Whipped Feta Cheese Board. This was the best thing we had! My husband had the swordfish and I had the fettucine with chicken. His was really good and mine was just okay. We split a piece of Key Lime pie that was nothing special.

George’s used to be a great place to go while at the beach. Appreciated the good service and great food but that’s a thing of the past. Arrived at the restaurant about 7 pm when it wasn’t busy. We were seated on the patio at a table drenched with dew as were the chairs. Asked for a table under the cover but hostess/server said on no she’d dry off the table and bring out dry chairs. The cloth she was using wasn’t drying table at all but just pushing water around so we told her we’d just go inside. She seemed to be very outdone with having to seat us inside. I asked her about specials when she brought my drink while my friend had stepped away from the table and she snapped that she’d tell me when he got back. I certainly would have hated for her to have to repeat anything! We each ordered the grouper special on a bed of grits. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t good and certainly not worth the price. We felt like others who said they were ripped off. We enjoy eating out and don’t mind paying for good food and service. But this is neither so we have written George’s off. Would advise you to go elsewhere.

We very much enjoyed this lunch experiencer. The setting is comfortable, bright and attractive. Service by the multiple staff was very attentive and welcoming. The food and drinks were full of flavor and the fish in each seafood dish was cooked perfectly. We highly recommend this restaurant and will return if back in this area of Florida.
