I would like to share my experience at this restaurant June 22 at 11:00-11:30 am, where I felt that one of the employees treated me in a racist and disrespectful manner. What made the situation even more upsetting is that this person was not even our server—he was simply passing by and overheard my conversation with my mom and mother-in-law.
He interrupted us several times and kept staring at our table while we were sitting and talking. We weren’t planning to eat more—we were just having a conversation. At one point, he rudely asked, “What is the problem?” even though there clearly wasn’t one. He also mocked my accent, which was extremely inappropriate and offensive.
While we were still seated and talking, he began clearing our table without asking, even though we hadn’t finished our talk and we wanted to stay longer. When he removed the dishes, he threw a fork into my plate showing that he is doing cleanup, causing a loud noise that made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe.
This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially from someone who wasn’t even responsible for our table.
But I need to mention that we were fully happy with our actual server: he was super kind, polite, friendly and helpful; I don’t quite remember his name but it starts from J.

Hands down the best oysters I’ve ever had. They were incredibly fresh and shucked right in front of us, which made the experience even better. The mignonette flavors were spot on and were bright, balanced, and a perfect match for the oysters. There was a great variety to choose from, and the happy hour pricing made it an unbeatable deal. We walked in on a Friday afternoon with no wait. Absolute gem!

Samantha was AMAZING!!! She gave all of the best recommendations and as a fine dining server myself, she gave immaculate service. Willing to pair every course we ordered. The ONE thing we didn’t like on the menu, she respectfully replaced. Also, to side note her humor, she made us laugh so much!!! A personable server is so hard to find now a days!!! She brought out her coworker, David, and he was so personable and funny, we recommend both severs next time.

I asked Maddie at the bar for a dessert recommendation to pair with my coffee, and she suggested the bananas bread pudding. Let me tell you, I’d give my soul for that dessert! Thank you, Maddie, for the fantastic suggestion. 🤍

The ambiance is chic yet welcoming, and the service is impeccable! Whether for brunch or dinner, this is a spot that nails every detail. Highly recommend for foodies visiting the area or bachelorette groups wanting a fancier night out!
Made our choice based on distance. Little bit too noisy inside so we asked to be seated outside. Much better. Server was nice and polite. Food was good except for smoked rib… side with it had no taste.
