We had a lovely dinner. Upscale but kid friendly. Service was impeccable. The filet was delish. All was perfect!
Seafood dishes were very bland and over priced. Grilled shrimp had basically no flavor. Service was good and sitting outside was great, but the food was very disappointing.
We stayed at the Ritz for the week and one of the highlights was our dinner at Salt. Celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, the staff was warm and welcoming and went out of their way to all say happy anniversary to us. We started with a complimentary glass of champagne and finished with some complimentary custom (and delicious) truffles. For dinner, we decided to treat ourselves to the Chef's Tasting Menu for the evening and we were NOT disappointed! Every serving (5 in all) was gourmet, terrific and unique - we each had a couple of favorites. Plus one of us requires a gluten free meal (Celiac) and the staff was knowledgeable and explained each item to us. In particular, Eva oversaw our entire meal and experience and she was simply wonderful. Thank you for an unforgettable evening!
Very loud atmosphere. Food was mediocre at best. Very disappointing for an over $200 meal.
We were disappointed to be honest. We ordered a kale Cesar with shrimp for my daughter. 19 for salad plus 18 for the shrimp. Very few shrimp and salad was so so. We ordered a single entre ( redfish ). Portion small and cooked a little too long. Another salad and protein. Waters to drink and one glass of wine. So one entre. Two salads with shrimp. Waters and one glass of house white wine. 168 dollars. They charged me to split one of the salad. ( I didn't ask them to do that ). Server was nice. Good generally bland Would not do it again I'm afraid . Disappointed. Lots of better options
Food and service were excellent! It was a little noisy with some big parties seated close to us.
Stayed 7 nights at the Ritz Amelia Island, and ate here 5 nights. Service and food were great. The kids menu was more than expected and they allowed adults to order off of for an additional small fee which I appreciated! Cocktails were wonderful-Delish!! Thank you Coast!
We dine at Coast regularly, and yesterday we each had a salad: The Caesar and The Coast Salads, with grilled chicken. Normally, the chicken is very tender and delicious, but yesterday it was tough. I don't know what has changed? I hope next time is better. We do like the restaurant very much.
Every was very nice staff was great my eggs Benedict was excellent my friend had fresh swordfish she really enjoyed
It was fine. But when we have a nice meal at the Ritz, we want better than fine, right? Fish was dry and the ribeye was just okay, but the kids liked their food and the fries and cocktail were great! We always sit outside because the view is great and inside is cold and loud. We will think hard before dining here again.

A bit disappointed when we arrived to see so many young children running around. Even more arrived and then we realized our hope of a quiet romantic dinner would have to wait for another night. Food was very good. We shared a wedge salad which was delicious. My wife had the short ribs which she enjoyed even though it was a bit fatty. My filet was delicious and cooked to perfection. Our server delivered my steak knife when I was half way through. He never returned to fill our wine glasses. No excuse for that. When our bill arrived we noticed a $3 charge to share the salad. When spending $250 for dinner that should have been waived.
Coast always has good food...breakfast is especially fun either buffet or menu. It's a good outdoor dining venue with some ocean view. However, it's essentially ‘family' style which means a kid fest. For more adult style, dine inside.
First night staying in the resort, so it needed to set the bar for our entire trip. We were disappointed. Our waiter was mediocre, which you do NOT expect from the Ritz. he was not friendly nor did he seem happy with being there. we felt rushed. from the time we ordered to when we got our food ate finished, it was 45 min TOTAL. we felt like we were in a fast food restaurant. everything we ordered (i got the fish special) and my hubby got the short ribs was extremely salty!! yuck. The breakfast was delicious though
Had a reservation and when we arrived we waited 40 mins for a drink, children's buffet in the middle of the room so We moved. 2 slider buns for table service bread. We went to the bar and got our drinks due to them sitting there for quite a while. Not the experience we expected for a couple celebrating an anniversary. We moved on to Another restaurant to eat in the hotel due to the noise
The salmon was very good. The local catch, grouper, was not blackened as ordered. The fish was drowned in bordelaise sauce and the truffle fries were overcooked and not good. Overall, the experience and food was not what I expected.
