Great location and Ambience. The Service was outstanding but a little slow a couple of times. The wait staff is very professional , courteous and accommodating. The Food was very good , but the menu is a little limited. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend Coast.

We had higher expectations for a restaurant in the Ritz. When we arrived we stood at the hostess desk while a waiter pressured her to put us at his table. The “negotiation” took several minutes before she finally gave in and seated us. The food was pretty good but not great. The service from that waiter was annoying. The food came out pretty quickly and the ambience was pretty good. All in all an ok meal that you would expect at a Hilton or Omni but not the Ritz.

Server was attentive but it seemed to take too long to get our order. Over 30 minutes. Food was good but warm, not hot. I expected better

Our splurge on the $200 per person New Years Eve chefs menu was nowhere as special as I hoped. We were rushed all night as all 4 family style appetizers arrived before I'd been served my wine — all at once. We were halfway done tasting each appetizer (a bland lobster Mac croquette and duck pasty but a tasty arugula and burrata) when our second course soup and salad were added to the crowded table. We soldiered on with our appetizers, leaving the soup to cool. When entrees arrived just as we finally turned to our second course I asked for them to slow down and hold off. The entrees were fine although I was surprised only one of 4 choices featured seafood. The one personal touch — the pastry chef who explained what each item was on the dessert bar (not all had labels). And her choux was lovely. When the host stopped by to ask about our experience I answered honestly it was “fine”. Oh well. Maybe the rush of New Years Eve required the assembly line approach and a typical evening will feel more special if you choose to drop a chunk of change here.

We have been going to the Ritz for over 20 years. The service was horrible. We sat at our table for 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged we had been seated. The food was okay except the oysters. Absolutely abysmal. Super small and not disconnected. We love the ritz but that night was horrible.

When we made the reservation we had said it was for a birthday celebration. Never once was it mentioned or asked about. The service was spotty and not very attentive. Really disappointing for the price we paid and for it being a Ritz restaurant.

We had specifically been requested bij the restaurant to make an online reservation indicating that our part of 6 included 3 vegan (plant-based) guests. Unfortunately this did not seem to have registered with our waiter. Again we mentioned this when ordering our food. For the buns we received butter and had to separately request olive oil. We had ordered 3 risottos which were served with cheese. We also wondered if the other ingredients were plant based as was initially promised provided we gave the chef sufficient notice, which we did by making the online reservation. The waiter was also not very attentive and did not provide much attention to our table. The waiter that only served the water was much kinder and was the one that also lowered and switched off some of the unnecessary heating. All in all a disappointing experience that we had not expected at the

Fisherman's soup had almost no fish, maybe it was ladled from the top, Rolls were stale. Wedge Salad had just a couple of bacon bits. Scallops were very good. Prices were high for what was served. Service was very good.

My fish dinner was terrible , dry and the broccoli was rubbery . My husband's food was ok . He had scallops .

So good news first, the filet was good, tender and cooked to perfection. The value was not bad considering it's a restaurant in the Ritz. What really surprised me was the service, the attentiveness was not Ritz quality. . .

So happy we came here for lunch! Fantastic service, beautiful views, tasty food. We're not the typical Ritz-Carlton guest but they treated us like we were. Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. Definitely a wonderful treat.
