The restaurant was out of fries and okra, which we should have taken a sign and left, but we still decided to order... the food arrived cold after everyone was out of drinks. It's unfortunate this place sounded so good on the menu... it may have been we arrived at a bad time but we left disappointed.
Enjoy and good meal and great service.
We stopped here for dinner on a recommendation of some friends and left extremely dissatisfied! Appetizer came timely and was good but main course was horrible. My husband ordered the grouper dinner and added shrimp. When the food runner brought out the main course we were already out of drinks and had not seen our waitress since she delivered the appetizer. My husband’s fish was fried and when he cut into the grouper it was undercooked. I had to go find someone to come to table and fish was sent back to be corrected. They then brought back what we think was the same fish which was now done in the middle but burnt on the outside! When our waitress returned my husband showed her the burnt fish and asked for the check. When the check came the waitress just said sorry I couldn’t do anything. She then offered a free dessert which we declined and we paid full price for the grouper ($35) that we left on the table! We will not be back and do NOT recommend!
Me and my two girlfriends went around 6 or 7PM on Sunday and asked for a table for 3.. the young lady behind the counter told us that rather rudely that she could not sit us until she seats everyone else on the list and she literally said “ I suggest you go somewhere else” we were taking it back on how rude and abrupt she was with no care in the world. We would’ve gladly sat at the bar and waited for a table, but she never offered or didn’t seem to care that we were there. We went somewhere else and will never be back. She needs to Learn some etiquette!!!
I wish I could give zero stars. I called the restaurant at 6:24 pm and asked what the wait was for 2 people. The hostess said 45 minutes so my husband and I made the 30 minute drive to the restaurant. When we arrived, we asked the hostess to put our name down for a table for 2. The hostess told us she “could not physically add any more names to the wait list.” We stood there confused because we have never been to a restaurant and been told that before. I asked when we needed to come back in for her to put us on the waitlist and she said “I honestly have no idea.” I stood and just stared at her confused until she said “you can come back in an hour” and I said “to be put on the waitlist?” She said yes and then answered the phone so we would not keep talking to her. Wish I got to try the food but after this interaction we will never be back.
Good oysters and gulf shrimp
Great place for lunch! Right on the water, and the seafood tastes like it's was caught on the dock. Worth a visit if you are within 50 miles!
My wife and I ate here for lunch and we were extremely disappointed. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and she ordered a burger. She requested the burger to be medium, but it came out well done and like charcoal. The Caesar salad I got, $14 and then an additional $8 for chicken, was bland and tasted more like a vinaigrette than a Caesar dressing. Also it felt like I got two tiny chicken tenders - the portions were abysmal.
We were thinking of getting oysters and then sharing an entree, until we noticed the mandatory $7 fee if you split a meal. Extremely disappointing experience.
Great place on the water with a nice view. While we waited for our food to arrive, we walked out on the outside deck to view the boats and water. The grouper reuben and cuban sandwiches we had were soooo good. My husband said the Cuban was the best he's ever had.
Just FYI, parking area is gravel, so ladies don't wear your heels.
Ordered Shrimp Gumbo appetizer, and Grouper Sandwich. Wife Grouper basket and salad. She got her salad early while I had to wait to get my appetizer served with my main course. Yes, of course the appetizer was cold. Sandwich was good. Like a lot of restaurants now days, they charge 3% for using credit card. What's with this? Not only is the food more expensive now, but now I'm having to give away any benefits I get from using a credit card. So what do you think, would the waitress be able to make correct change given cash? Of course not.

We stopped at this restaurant while traveling through. The food and atmosphere was amazing! Danitza was our server, you could not have asked for a better server, super sweet and attentive! I don't eat seafood so she recommended the Cuban sandwich, probably the best sandwich I have ever eaten! My husband had the tuna and loved it Great big kudos to the cooks! The live music was the icing on the cake!! We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
Awesome place anytime of the year!! Come by boat or come by car. Great marina, fuel, service, food and bar. Our go-to hangout in Apalachicola!! Mallory is the bomb!!
Food was amazing. I had never heard of a Grilled Grouper Ruben sandwich, but you have to try it. It was fantastic. The location is good as it's right on the water, but since it's at the marina parking was plentiful. Food was very good, service was great, and the desserts are homemade. We had the key lime and the banana cheesecake and they were both amazing as well.
Definitely will be a place we revisit.
Outside there's so many bugs but it's good food and service
This is a great restaurant with very good food, service and atmosphere! The grouper is very fresh and they have a good variety of sides like collards and Mac and cheese along with the regular ones. My wife loves the grouper Ruben and their gumbo is also great. The menu has been shrunk in the last few years, but they do a good job. There's a new brewpub in the same building.
