I ordered a sirloin steak. It was at least 90% fat. What would a decent restaurant serve a very fat steak? Our server was fantastic on the other hand.

Hidden gem in Appalachicola if you are willing to walk 10 minutes from the more touristy downtown area. Food was tasty, talked with several fun locals, the band was good and the drinks were stout. Good way to end a day on the Forgotten Coast.

2024-Came back a year later to be sorely disappointed. No Bushwackers! The online menu is not accurate, they dont serve the entrees listed online. Plus it was quite costly for the small amount of food received... spent $74 on the Special sandwich, a sm. Fried grouper basket, kids corn dogs, and 2 drinks! Plus it was an overcast day but still 70+ and humid out wouldn't seat outside and didn't turn on fans inside. It was almost too muggy to eat inside. All around poor experience. Would look elsewhere unfortunately... not sure what happened in the last year, but no improvements to better the business. 2023-Definitely worth the stop! Bushwackers with some fried calamari and fish dip, all excellent. Service was great and the atmosphere is peaceful.
It was perfect! Outside seating was great. The waitress was extremely helpful. We had the Oysters Rockefeller. So good!! Their Mac and cheese was really good. But, the Banana Pudding Cheese cake was wonderful. It is a must!!!! The flavors were blended so well that you had to remind yourself that it was a cheesecake. We ordered 2 and reordered more.

Lovely setting but our food was horrible. Two people ordered chocked finger sandwiches and the chicken was hard and yellow on the inside. I ordered the mahi mahi special blackened and it was served grilled. I let our waiter know and she says well I turned it in as blackened. The Caesar salad was delicious and the spicy margarita was delicious is why I gave it a 2 instead of a 1.
