I rode the coast over from the other side of Tallahassee just to enjoy a nice Saturday and ended up in Apalachicola. I checked Google for a good place and Hope in the Wall was tops and right in front of me. The oysters were outstanding, the grouper was really good and even though the place was packed out, everyone was really friendly. Had a chance to talk to a couple of employees working oysters and the bar and they were super. 100% going back again.

The oysters were outstanding. The bar was quintessential Apalachicola. If you want to feel like you're eating the best oysters, fished by locals for locals, this is the place. Love it! A must visit.

Perfect name. With memorabilia covering the walls, this could have been here 50 years ago. Limited menu but excellent raw oysters.

Oysters cooked in the microwave and they don’t even hide it? First time I’ve ever seen that in a restaurant. Were they bad? Bit really but they weren’t good. Probably the worst cooked oysters in town.

Fresh seafood and great prices. I had a great lunch and everyone around me enjoyed their food and drinks. I watched as the owners went to each and every table to make sure everything was perfect for their customers. I had the crab cakes and the marrinated vegetable salad that was out of this world... loved it... I will be back!
