Chef Dan is a hoot to work with!!! We hired him for our April beach destination wedding welcome dinner and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the tacos! Our food was delivered fresh & right on time. Great made from scratch food with customized options. Would definitely hire Tamara’s on the Go again & can’t wait to swing by their food truck the next time we are in town!
I’d especially recommend for a catered event.
I think Tamara's Cuban Sandwich was the best I've had. My friend loved the cheeseburger. Tamara told us it would take ten minutes, so we browsed around inside the Apalachicola Bee Company next door while we waited, due to the rain. There is a beautiful shaded area next to the food truck, to sit and enjoy your meal. Great experience!

Hearing about this place, I already had high expectations for the Cuban. And they did not fail. Cuban was fresh the meat was tender the sauce was great the honey mustard added was good was really good. I had no idea it came with fries. For $17 it's a huge sandwich and a good amount of fries. Everything is on point here for me. Consistency is key... I'll keep coming back.

First time visiting this area and I wasn’t disappointed. Found this food truck when I was just looking for something nearby and I’m glad I stumbled upon this. Great food, views, and vibes!

This food truck is the love child of my favorite restaurant of all time. I was afraid I’d be disappointed since it’s the to-go version, but I was pleasantly surprised to see it was just as good as the restaurant was!! We got the Cuban and Chorizo Mac and Cheese, and the rest of our group got Grouper Cheeks, and we were all SO fat and happy by the end of our meal. Even the fries were next level! Can’t wait to go back!

We both got the Grouper BLT and it had my car smelling like fish all day and the next morning. Got back to our room and it just didn’t taste right and we both threw our sandwiches away. We did get the greens instead of fries and they were really good. I contacted the owner and they have not responded back. I have been wanting to try them every time we come to town but the timing never worked out. I hate that we were disappointed, spent $45 just to throw it away 😞

One of the best gyro’s I’ve ever had and hands down the best Food Truck meal I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating.

This is a great hidden gem in Apalachicola. It’s a cute trailer food truck with adorable out door seating. There is also a super cute little trailer that moves around and you can get to cater events. The menu is constantly changing and always delicious. The chef is knowledgeable about allergies and will turn any sandwich into nachos. I had the Cuban nachos and they were out of this world. We brought a big group and called ahead and he went over and above to accommodate our group. Don’t miss this stop on your Apalachicola trip.

Grouper BLT was among the best pieces of fish I've had anywhere. Talking with Danny the owner, I can understand why. The other raving reviews are solid!
The other order in my group went with the flounder tacos. He was pretty close to gushy about them. Great food.
Plenty of clean picnic tables, food truck meets outside bistro, within eyesight of the waterfront.
Just right. It's a gem!

After I ordered, I noticed that the cook/server was constantly sniffling. I saw him wipe his nose with his ungloved hand and then use it to serve the food. He told us our food would be ready in 15 minutes. We came back after that to find that he had just started preparing it. It took at least another 15 to get it ready. My wife’s Gyro meat was rubbery, the tzatziki sauce was not anything like it should be, and the homemade chips were unpalatable. My Cuban sandwich was decent and the French fries were very good.

We grabbed dinner after a fun day on SGI. The Tabasco chicken was amazing! A delicious southern food combo with the perfect amount of spice! Will be back next year!
Grouper Reuben with fries was tasty and quite satisfying! My husband had the Tabasco chicken with tender collard greens and cheesy mac n cheese. All delicious! The menu had us wanting to try more. Looks like we’ll have to revisit this place.
Great place to have food! Definitely worth checking out when in Apalachicola. The gyros is excellent.

The food was delicious! I had Abuela's Chicken Salad and my brother had the Blackened Shrimp Caesar Salad. So yummy and the food was ready quickly as well.
