We met our nephew and his wife for lunch who were visiting and enjoyed everything! Mahi basket, grouper basket, Creek burger, and crab cake basket were all amazing! The gumbo was excellent. Great service and great view. Saw a gator in the river too. 😳😱 we haven’t been here in awhile but definitely back on our list of favs.

amazing delicious and no nonsense. sat at the bar with a nice view out of the window of the coastal marsh. bartender was friendly and helpful and had local recommendations. love seeing the oysters shucked in front of me mere feet away!!

Don’t let this place fool you if you drive by to check out the outside vibe, it’s a great seafood stop! There’s also an elevator for anyone who can’t climb the stairs. In our short stay in Apalachicola, we ate here twice because we liked it so much. The view from the porch is really good, and the food is great. We had the coconut shrimp twice! Their raw oysters were great, and the special we had one night was a scallop basket and it was great. The scallops were the small kind of scallops that were lightly fried and we were not going to get it because we wanted the big scallops but we did anyway and we were really surprised at how sweet they were and how great they tasted. This place is definitely worth the stop!!
I really wanted to like this place a lot but the harsh reality it that other than the awesome atmosphere and local it barely scratched the average category. If you are looking for a place to sit down and have a few drinks on the water it doesn't get much better but if you want some really good food and service unfortunately you would need to seek it elsewhere. I gave it 2 chances as I usually do everywhere....

This place has the best oysters that I've ever had and I am from Clearwater Florida ride on the beach the atmosphere was great and again the oysters are worth traveling for they are the biggest freshest oysters I've ever had
