Circles Waterfront Restaurant

I have been visiting Circles for clise to 20 years. It is my favorite restaurant to take visiting family and friends to. Always delivers exceptional food and service. The water front views are exceptional. They've built a great outdoor experience.

I had a pretty disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely slow and inattentive from the moment we sat down. It took a long time just to get greeted, and even longer for our orders to be taken. Throughout the meal, we rarely saw our server, and had to flag someone down multiple times for basic things like refills and updates.

As for the food and drinks, everything was just… average at best. Nothing really stood out, and for the price, I expected much better quality and flavor. The drinks were also underwhelming and didn’t seem well-made.

Overall, the combination of poor service and mediocre food made this a place I wouldn’t return to or recommend. There are definitely better options out there.

It was a very bad experience with awful service. We waited around 40 minutes to order food and the kids got hungry. It started raining and after ordering we had to wait 45 min and the food was not served yet. We chose to take the food home and the bad things were that the expensive food were way below expectations. In the Entree it said jumbo shrimp but it was not even Medium shrimp size and not tasty or fresh at all. The grouper tasted like grilled chicken no salt and so expensive. I will never recommend this overpriced place with the very bad service.

Yusuf is always the best. Circles is one of our favorite spots to pull our boat up to and relax. Not only that, but they sell Caymus by the bottle. If you have the opportunity to check Circles out, ask to be sat with Yusuf. Unbelievable service. See you next time!

Very good food equals a great staff in the kitchen and great people at the top. Only issue was the crab/corn chowder was filled with an unusual amount of crab shell pieces. I suspect they use a comercial crab sheller. Otherwise, always great place to visit.

I have no idea how this place even gets a single star. Rude wait staff and managers. A chef whom thinks he is king almighty and wait times on appetizers for over an hour. Zero accommodating. Zero respect. There are hundreds of restaurants with the same type of menus with much better attitudes and staff. I suggest going to one of those.

We have been going to Circles since 2006. Tonight was a disappointment. We ordered a special for $39 which was Twin Filets with Jumbo Crab meat. We ordered the filets medium rare and they were well done. The crab was good, but the side of potatoes were billed as “crispy potatoes” were soft like they were left over. Quite frankly, one of the worse meals we have ever had there. So, in total a bill of $128 plus tax and tip for nearly $200 and the food was a complete disappointment. Service was good. Atmosphere was nice as usual.

If you can sit outside by the docks do it! Tad and Zach are the greatest in the world. They're usually making the drinks and they make the best ones and never forget a face. If you're there when they open, Larry is also the man! Super kind and gracious staff. The wings, grouper, and fish tacos are the greatest of their kind. Too, all sauces are made in house and to order! Freaking delicious. I won't go anywhere else other than here. I refuse.
